  1. Oh, c'mon. It's St J ffs. They operate on a shoestring compared to most other teams in the league. I've yet to find a principle that puts its hand in pocket and pays the bills.
  2. Lol, in my head that game finished 1-0
  3. I'm not sure I would care too much if I was a St J fan. I would probably look at it and think "that's a players wage for a year covered".
  4. No idea if it was on the tv but Robertson did indeed score the winner though I don't remember it being controversial. It was a shot from the edge of the box that snuck in if memory serves.
  5. I've not been that impressed with Mackenzie his last few appearances, he has the air of a player that doesn't want to get injured when he's about to go OOC. He's not been awful or anything but he's defo down the pecking order for me. I agree Shinnie may not be the best option at LB for some games though. What's going on with Devlin does anyone know? He's not been in a squad since Killie at home. There was chat he was carrying a knock but I've not heard anything further.
  6. I would absolutely stick with the same 11 unless Tobers is fit. No harm to Dorrington who's been solid but I would rather have the player that is ours playing. As has been mentioned Valakari has St J playing a more open game and I think Morris and Keskinen will have more space to work with than they did against Queens. Dare I say it but you could make the argument Shinnie should be considered primarily a LB now? He's doing well there and it gets the captain on the park whilst allowing better passers of the ball to in the centre. It's so easy just to assume that a fixture against St J will be a turgid affair but I think this one might be a decent game. They will defo try and attack us and we will be too so here's hoping we get plenty goals for a change. 3-1 dons. Dabbagh, Nisbet and Morris
  7. Oh I got the reference . Wilson was a funny one for us, I mind him scoring a couple of worldies insterpersing a highly impressive attempt to steal the nickname "Casper" from Gary MacDonald. He almost succeeded ffs Not watched a lot of Killie or Hearts in recent times 2bh but my neighbour is usually pretty level headed. Hope he kicks on though, Scotland need more strikers.
  8. Dunno like, he looks pretty handy. My Jambo neighbour would happily suck him off if the opportunity presented itself.
  9. Absolutely delighted for him. I said when he was announced that I wasn't sure about his attitude and he really has made me eat my words. He's 100% made the Scotland squad on merit
  10. I vaguely remember Rob Maclean saying something about it on RTV in an early league cup game maybe but, yeah, don't take it as gospel.
  11. Hearts it is.
  12. Easily goal of the tournament so far from what I've seen.
  13. It's not been great, livi weren't too bad 1st half 2bf
  14. What a fucking ping from Carey to put St J ahead
  15. I was under the impression Thelin had spotted Ambrose when at Elfsborg and told the recruitment team he wanted him.
  16. I'm with Panda, Ambrose did alright when he came on. For him that's definite improvement as he's really not done much since the winner against utd. I agree with Rico that he should have gone on loan in January and if Sokler doesn't pick up a long term injury he probably does. Do I think he's going to work out long term? Probably not, no..... but I'm not convinced of that either. No offence intended to anyone but I do think some of you guys are just a bit too quick to write a player off 2bh. I wouldn't have to go very far back on this board to find plenty of comments saying Gueye and Morris are not good enough and should be no-where near the first team.
  17. I actually thought Ambrose looked alright when he came on.
  18. Well if it wasn't game over it is now, cracking finish from shinniesta
  19. Far from convinced of that
  20. I know what you mean, he's had a couple of poor touches at the worst possible time but his movement has been really good.
  21. Excellent from Nisbet, he's arguably our most important player now. Delighted for Dabbagh as well as he's doing all the right things
  22. Apologies for the source but I found it an interesting enough read. Perhaps we are writing Okkels off too early but time will tell https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/jeppe-okkels-faces-aberdeen-ticking-34811120?fbclid=IwY2xjawI3o71leHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHdNNcAe400iCVdHKO0LP1li9g4dh52ib8WPNlcrIPjsx2PlXyehsf2C_0Q_aem_NYBFKOdaL_-dh7ZGM38rGg
  23. Looks like doak is out for the rest of the season
