  1. Defo don't want Van Veen. Seen that movie too many times, one good season does not make an ageing striker worth a big contract.
  2. Past few games that Morris has come on in he hasn't been awful by any stretch, he also seems to be the only wide player we have that consistently goes for the by-line and I would play him over Vinny at the moment 2bh. Vinny is an odd player, it's really hard to say what his best position is. I would say he is better in the center than out wide, he's not exactly rapid and he couldn't skin a potato. The Duk to young boys rumour is interesting. Benefica have 50% of any fee and he's only got 18 months left. If we got 1.5 mill for him (as in a 3 mill fee) I would see that as pretty decent business but I wouldn't be disappointed if we kept him either though. Swiss league doesn't seem a huge step up but he will get a shot at CL football most likely so he would probably want to go.
  3. Rhys Williams loan ended confirmed by the club to no shock to anyone. Hopefully Dadia will be off the books soon too.
  4. Lot of positives to take from today, County actually tried to play in spells and I thought we held them at arms length fairly well when they did. I also thought we moved the ball on the deck pretty well in spells as well and that was when we looked our best. Overall I would say everyone had a good game, particular stand outs were Barron, Miovski, Mcgrath and Shinnie. I think Ruby started over Jensen to deal with the physical presence of White and on that note I suspect Polvara was shoe horned in on the right over Morris for his size too. He did well though. A good pressure reliever for Robson and the end to a hectic schedule. He has mentioned a few times he's not had a lot of time on the training pitch with a lot of the new additions due to schedule. He's got 16 days with them until we play Clyde now.
  5. Helen have had a rotten December, 4 points from 18, so we have every right to be expecting a win. Not sure what to expect team wise either though Robson did say that he was getting 3 days in a row on the training pitch with them for the first time in 4 months. That could see some tactical changes perhaps but time will tell. If we score early I think we could have a fun game, 4-0 dons Miovski, mcgrath, Clarkson and Duk
  6. 3 wins out of 4 in the league this month 2bf and 4 wins out of 6 for December overall. Patchy at best seems a wee bit harsh 2bh. Very confident going into this one, think we will win quite comfortably and I really hope Miovski gets a goal or two given this will probably be his Pittodrie swansong.
  7. Which means the BBC know what his user name is and monitor his posts on DT?
  8. ...... why would you posting anonymously on here directly lead to you going on such a course?
  9. What I find laughable about this is that folks seriously think the tim board will sanction the kind of bid that cormack would need to justify selling to a domestic rival. For that I think it would need to be a bid approaching 8 figures in size and they will never spend that on a player from another Scottish club.
  10. Pleased the squad got a wee break 2bh Manc. Fancy us big time for this and fancy us to end the month well. A solid win here sets us up nicely to take St mirren and then county. 3-0 Miovski, Duk and mcgarry
  11. Not only that there is no recovery period for the squad so Robson can get them on the training pitch tomorrow when he wouldn't have been able to prior. We will defo be fresher come the Motherwell game than we would have been.
  12. Sympathies to all those that travelled though, that must have been a real sickener. In the grand scheme of things perhaps it's not the worst luck in the world. I'm pleased the squad is getting a wee break after such a hectic schedule 2bh. Also this had banana skin written all over it and I'm also pleased it is now a 2024 problem. Motherwell and Helen at home next then county away. 9 from 9 is highly achievable
  13. My feeling is he will end up in Serie A 2bh and I wouldn't be shocked if it was Bologna again. I'm hoping for about 6 mill + sell on fee but time will tell. I also doubt he will be here come February 2bh but would be delighted to be proven wrong.
  14. I really like Polvara. I noticed pre season he was getting talked up an awful lot by Robson and Hayes. As such I watched him closely anytime he got minutes. Robson was talking him up again in his presser yesterday and I can see him becoming a big player for us as the season progresses. Polvara was also speaking and he comes across as very switched on and humble. His ball for Sokler on thursday gets better every time you watch it.
  15. Gets better every time you look at it!
  16. Great win, keeps the momentum going for the final on Sunday. 500k and coefficient points an added bonus
  17. Oh fuck off, dyron Dall and Dave bus ring a bell?
  18. See Cuntwell didn't travel with the hun squad to seville for personal matters.... Reeks of he's had a falling out with the manager (who, 2bf, doesn't seem a sufferer of fools). Fingers crossed for a blood bath in seville tonight to decimate their squad further
  19. Hopefully it won't just be the prossies getting pumped by Scots
  20. Amazingly Cifuentes red card has been upheld at appeal. No extra game suspension though
  21. We need a Def midfielder as a priority. As for Miovski there is no danger cormack would deal with the tims unless they offer silly money. I suspect Bojan has higher ambitions than staying on Scotland as well
  22. Mediocre first half but we certainly were not dominated by hearts at any point really. Excellent second half I thought though, every one just upped a gear and really wanted it. I do agree hearts shat it a bit but we were well worth the win in the end. I actually thought Morris looked quite handy when he came on. Big win.
  23. I would like to see how Duk got on alongside sokler 2bh. As a pairing you could argue Duk and Miovski aren't overly suited playing with the other as a two. Not that they can't do well together but both suit playing with a more team orientated cf. We haven't seen enough of Sokler to say that's what he is but he defo has the potential to be.
  24. You are spot on on the weak spots though re Miovski at least we have other attacking options to at least play. Rb and cm though we are so light. Nicky Devlin has been the best fb business we have done in quite a while i would say and if he got injured we would be in trouble as I'm far from convinced by Morris. Same with Shinnie. Barron, Clarkson, polvara and mcgrath are not holding midfielders. I wonder if Gartenmann could move forward in a crunch , he reads the game well and is more than good enough on the ball to win it and move it to a creative player. Mcgarry coming back is a positive at least, I haven't seen anywhere near enough of him to judge his worth yet.
  25. We are about to embark on a run from the last day of November to the 2nd last day of December (30 days) which encompasses 10 games. That's literally a one game every three days for a month. I mean, that's just fucking bonkers and I honestly can't remember the club every having a run like this whilst I've supported them. It gets worse though cos then we have County at home on the second of January so it's actually an 11 game in 33 day run... Which is also a one in 3 average just for longer. Joy. Obviously, this is going to be quite the test for the squad and the management. I suspect this is what Robson and Agnew have been talking about when they say everyone has a role to play in the campaign despite lack of game time. Rotation becomes a necessity now and perhaps even players like Besuijen will be feeling tired come the bells of Hogmanay. The big question marks for me are over dadia, Williams and gueye as these guys have come with something resembling a reasonable pedigree but the few appearances between them have not inspired any praise. It's not all bad though, including the County game 6 of the 8 league games are at home and they are all very winnable. The two away are Easter road (which is this Sunday) and the fun away on the 23rd. They are very winnable games also..... though I concede hibs away is defo not easy after coming back from Helsinki. They are also very far apart as dens is not until the 23rd and we will play at home for 3 league games, 1 European game and then a trip to hampden before that. It's impossible to predict how this is going to go. Key players getting injured seems fairly inevitable though even with plenty rotation..... but then it's not guaranteed either. We might get lucky and avoid anything more serious than a few minor knocks to the likes of Dante Polvara and Esper Sokler. If there is an advantage of playing so many games it's that if you get a few results and performances on the bounce you can get some cracking momentum and given the fixtures we have that is far from out of the question. As such there may be more riding on this Helsinki game than the pride and the 500k for the win it appears to be on first glance.
