I actually thought Webber was going to lamp Vettel when he came into the weigh in room in the paddock. Vettel is a cracking driver but a grade A tosser, that overtake attempt down the pit straight was just lunacy. A couple of millimetres either way and both cars were out of the GP. The drivers championship might be where the glory is but the constructors is where the money's at, you can't blame Horner and Newey for trying to protect their maximum points position. Webber deserves credit for not losing his head and trying to take 1st back regardless of how good it would have been to watch. As for Hamilton and Rosberg I can't help but think that Ross Braun made the call on the grounds that Hamilton is more likely to put a title challenge in. I tell you what though, Hamilton has gone up in my estimation hugely the past 6 months. I was really rooting for him when it became clear Raikkonen was out of the running.

This appointment if it happens does have a bit of a "meh" feel about it. He did do well with St J it has to be said, can't really remember how they played under him though. Anyone remember how McInnes St J played?

Collins just doesn't sit right with me at all, can't really explain it but don't fancy him. When we got rid of JC I wanted Black for the job, what are peoples thoughts on him? I've said before I don't want another Gothenburger in charge but if it was Black? I dunno I might be able to overlook it, always been impressed by him in interviews and his brief managerial stints

regardless of what happened with Scotland I'll always respect Levein as a manager, especially for this I might add People forget because of results that at times Scotland played some quite nice stuff under Levein, The friendly against Australia not so long ago we looked really positive and played them off the park. I also remember Utd playing good football under him and if you look at who he signed at Utd and Hertz he clearly also has an eye for a player. I genuinely think he would be a good appointment but I would much rather have Adams.

I would like Adams, as I have said on here before I get a lot of inside info on how things work at county through a good friend who's heavily involved with the club and I really like how he goes about his business. already spoken to that person and I wouldn't go sticking your life savings on DA leaving county just yet

Chelsea. Scummy team, scummy fans. I can usually find something to like about most teams down south, i bet a lot on premier league games and you can build up affiliations with teams, players, managers etc when they win you a bit of money. Going against the grain of the thread though I don't mind seeing the north east teams do well these days. More to do with having a few mates who support them than anything else.

Sorry Manc just spotted this. True he did win the league cup but it I can't help but suspect Mowbray should get more credit than Collins for that. He just seems to fall out with everyone he works with, and has managerial experience about 2 years long. He never came across well to me as a manager and I would much rather have the guy who has taken the lowest budgeted side in the spl to 4th in the league
