  1. I can understand why you think it but I'm not convinced. If/when there is another ref it will need to be well considered, quite simply if it was held and the result came back the same as 2014 you just can't see the SNP going for another one for a very long time. They would never get away with it..... they would have truly failed and what purpose would they serve then? If/when there is another referendum it's all or nothing and the SNP will be well aware of that. The SNP have risen spectacularly but to use the old football idiom 'getting to the top is one thing, staying there is something else'. It's clear they are going to get a lot of seats and have some actual influence in Westminster, how much remains to be seen, but if they are going to consolidate that (stretch out a big lead at the top to continue the football analogy) what they really need to do then is maintain a majority in the Scottish parliament not call for another referendum. It's a trickier prospect too because of the PR election system and they may not manage a majority though there is no danger Labour will get enough to have a minority gvmt. The next few years in Scottish and UK politics is going to be fascinating to watch.
  2. I hadn't heard about his early onset of Parkinsons but I remember him collapsing in the dugout, very sad to hear. Always had time for Sturrock
  3. Ict were clearly the better team the first half, they then scored early in the second half. Then we started to play a bit, Smith's introduction was the game changer for me he caused they Inverness defence loads of problems. That said if ict could defend set pieces they might have got something from the game. That's 4 goals in 2 games they have conceded from set plays
  4. Ict edged the first half to say the least
  5. You could make arguments for most of them but I've gone for goodwillie v st j, I'm a sucker for an overhead kick
  6. I doubt we would against this bayern side.....
  7. well they are going to have 50 k of them to sell in a couple of seasons, interesting timelapse video on what they are doing with their new stadium if anyone likes that kinda thing
  8. Ict took 10k to the league cup final
  9. It's a shame, he's a player for sure, I just hope we don't regret this next season
  10. I do quite fancy dundee to give the jungle Jim's a game on Wednesday. Celtic have been playing a lot lately and extra time combined with a second half with ten men won't help. Will Gordon be suspended from the next league game?
  11. Decent kick off time and make tickets 15 quid and they may yet fill it
  12. What a fucking goal!
  13. Andy fucking walker Tom Ict have been great today, shinnie playing a blinder also

    Coffee Shops

Out of curiosity is walking down the street drinking a cup of tea or a can of juice also so offensive?
  15. Danny Wilson just triggered a release Clause from hearts, not convinced he would come to us but defo worth a look
  16. Really felt for Smith today, put's in a match-winning performance last week and doesn't even get off the bench today. I know the red card changed the focus of the game but it doesn't seem right he was dropped in the first place. That said we did win the game and the change may have been tactical, Macleans physique was causing the utd rearguard some problems. Ultimately the referee ruined what was quite a flat game and Utd look the shadow of the team that put 3 past us at the start of the season. Flood and Taylor both stood out and that's 3 good performances from flood on the bounce which is pleasing. Rooney is just brilliant, a model pro who does everything right and should win the SPFL player of the year award imo
  17. Would need to see some of the decisions again but my first impression is that it was the worst refereeing performance I have seen at Pittodrie since the McCurry days! The stopping play when hayes was through defies logic

    Popcorn time is great
  19. Can but hope manc
  20. You're such a player al
  21. I really like the play offs, great addition to the league imo
  22. Very much this. Would be rather interesting to see Klopp's Barca side taking on Pep's Bayern. City are likely to be bidding farewell to Pellegrini and they would be an attraction you would think.... but more than Real or Barca (one of their respective managers will likely be replaced come the end of the season)? It's hard to say, he's a man of principle and therefore might throw a bit of a curveball like pep did when he went to Bayern. City do have a lot to offer though and for someone like Klopp he might just fancy it. As new boys on the big fish in the european pond stage (kinda though yet to do anything in Europe) they have yet to really establish what type of big club they want to be.... Klopp could go in there and be the first to make city truly one of the big fish. That would appeal to him I think.
  23. in supporters bus/golf club main supporters bus 2-0 or maybe 3-1.... can see us winning by two but despite their recent run I don't expect an easy game. Rooney maclean (it's gotta happen sometime) and hayes I missed the game on sunday sadly but from what I hear I would keep the starting line up bar maybe taylor for daniels. Smith should absolutely be keeping his place though, Pawlett has been not very effective the past few months and Smith has more to offer and hitting a bit of form. Flood appears to be returning to his pre injury form, he had a good game against ICT and kept the likes of Tansey pretty quiet. I know he splits opinion but when he's on his game he's a very effective player for us and you can see no-one likes playing against him. Am i right in thinking he started alongside SM who was playing a more centre mid role? If so how did they look together?
  24. Not if we win the game
