  1. I'll take that, it was never going to be an easy game and if memory serves that's our first win at Hampden in 16 years? Last one i can think of was the SC semi against hibs, 2-1 stav and an epic andy dow volley. Not convinced Rooney is actually offside as it looked to me like the ball wasn't played forward by the header that set him up. Rooney takes a couple of small steps of backwards just before he heads it and given how close to being level with considine in the first place that would put the flight of the ball roughly level with AC. If that's the case then the ball hasn't moved forward but sideways and Rooney cannot be offside as the offside rule only apply's when the ball is played forward by a team mate. The assistant must have had a really good view AC's header and I suspect that's why he's not flagged. I thought Maclean did fine today and I was chuffed he got a goal but not MOM, defo shinnie for that prize. Ultimately GM came to frustrate and did well in their task but 2-0 was about right. I'd quite like to see Considine given a run with AOC, if jack can play cm with Maclean we could finally get Shinnie in his round peg.
  2. Honestly don't care, they are both beatable.
  3. Aye and given the relatively small crowd going you'll be fine. It will be busier getting out but that's always the case.
  4. All of which Alex Neil knows. The likes of Naismith and hoolahan stay fit we have a chance of keeping him for the season assuming Maddison himself wants to stay.
  5. No worries. Compensation is pretty standard in such cases, it's usually the wages of the player for the remainder of the loan.
  6. No he wasn't, he was signed for the season. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/aberdeen-disappointed-danny-ward-returned-10716804.amp And the club were compensated I can assure you.
  7. What frustrates me is we got about 300k from liverpool for recalling ward early. We could have got Mcgovern for a third of that from hamilton and i reckon we would have pushed the tims all the way with a decent keeper. I actually am coming to think that Lewis is better than Ward, if only because of how well he organises the defence in front of him. He's a real find.
  8. It needs a goal but it's not been too bad
  9. There's still plenty of time for the Saint's to turn their season around and Jack Ross looks to be a great appointment. Hopefully this will be good for LS.
  10. I suspect Maddison himself would probably like to see out the season with us and I'm hoping that might swing it in our favour. Time will tell on this one but let's hope Hoolahan and Naismith don't get injured.
  11. I really wish we had AOC and Lewis last season, we would have won the league imo
  12. Proactive.
  13. I put my money where my mouth was as well but cashed it out pretty much the moment stockley scored. Pretty solid performance and second game on the bounce we have won 4-0, happy days. It's a real shame we didn't have lewis and oconnor last season.
  14. You're welcome.
  15. No changes to the team unless injury enforced I suspect. Wouldn't even bench Jack, there's no need to rush his comeback, semi final or not it's still Morton and we should have enough about us to do without him. Indeed I would argue that Shinnie and Maclean have built a bit of an understanding in recent games and I would like to see where that goes. I still maintain that Shinnie's best position is LB but Considine has been very effective there the past few games and certainly doesn't warrant dropping. out Home Home Pub I think we might score a few goals tomorrow, the squad is well rested and on a high. County can be a tough nut to crack but Maddison is such an ace in the pack at the moment..... An early goal would make all the difference and Paul Quinn is going to fucking hate playing against him. 4-0 dons rooney (2) Maddison and Mcginn
  16. I have a lot of love for the Irish but whilst the traitors don the top I won't support them. If Rooney and Hayes were to get a game though this would trump the malice I feel toward the traitors.
  17. In. Dunno why, just would.
  18. With the gambling charge he's toast, hell they probably won't even have to pay him off.
  19. I think he would jump at the chance Al. Derby is a pretty big club capable of getting to, and surviving in, the top flight with the right guy at the helm. I'm not for a second saying he is that man but he will think he is. If he does go there's going to be some hun interest in DM at the very least but I'm not convinced he'd be a shoe in for it though. If the horribles have any sense they will be wanting a chat with Tommy Wright as well.
  20. Scottish blend, I'm on call tonight
