  1. Decent source but he's not infallible. He also tweeted similar about Jamie Ness if memory serves. Boyce would certainly add a new dimension to the attack and would likely be far more effective than DG when played up top with Rooney. First time I saw him was the 4-0 against county at the end of last season. He looked pretty poor that day but he also didnt look very fit. In more recent meetings he's looked better and was a menace when we played them last. The way I see it to varying degree's we need a striker, CM, RB, CB and GK but I really can't see us signing 5 players in the window. 3 tops which is going to leave us short.

Still not seen it yet so thanks for the spoiler alerts Probably won't get a chance till monday now.
  3. I would say it leaves us short, particularly at RB. Boyce would also be quite an interesting proposition though I would be very surprised at county letting him go so easily. I would rather Jackson Irvine.
  4. Don cowie is an interesting proposition
  5. I think I would rather take Rogers back, save spending for a CM.
  6. Well if there was any doubt previously I think this confirms our season is completely fucked.
  7. Bullied all over the park today. Pretty fucking heartbreaking
  8. Our best available 11 at the moment. 2 nil dons, MacLean and Rooney
  9. This just takes the piss https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jdMWiFF99ns

I've a lot of love for Tarantino movies though I wasn't overly impressed by Django Unchained. I'll be interested to hear your thoughts Rocket.
  11. It's interesting SFC have recalled him for lack of game time, you don't see that happen too often. You could speculate it indicates they think he could be a player. Also it would have been good to have a route 1 striker option the past couple of games it has to be said. Against partick in particular as they were a very tall and physical (though not dirty) side. With Jack out a CM has to be the first order of business in my eyes though.
  12. I remember being impressed by him at Hearts and was disappointed we didn't move for him when the huns did. That said he's been in the doldrums for a few years, driver was playing at a higher standard and he did hee haw last season. We do need some sort of cover for Mcginn and Hayes but we have PP, Smith and, also, Wright has looked pretty jinky when I have seen him. I'd rather see the money being spent on an B2B CM, someone like Arnie, Bisco or Heikkenen. Ideally I would like Jackson Irvine from county who I reckon we could get for about 200-250k.
  13. It's been a while since we had a player in this position, the current regime has been pretty effective at giving out contracts so I'm not sure what to make of the fact it's happening with Rogers. It could be as simple as DM for some reason or other just may not fancy him. I saw that Liverpool just signed another young keeper so it may yet be possible to keep Ward for another season. I'm not sure how I feel about that for the obvious what about our own youth reasons but he's been a real find this season and would be leaving big shoes to fill for Rogers should he be staying. Ideally I would like ward another year with Rogers as his no2 but giving him a bit more game time than one would expect to integrate him. E.G. Cup games against lower league opp and some of the diddier top flight sides. It's likely pie in the sky thinking, if championship sides are offering more bucks Rogers will be gone you would think.

It was sunset song rocket, the phrase about pigs and lipstick springs to mind.
  15. Anyone in Aberdeen able to give a weather update?
  16. His form the past two years has been phenomenal. There will be plenty of championship clubs well aware of his form that have the cash to spare for him. Let's face it, 4 mill from a derby or a Boro, hell even a bournemouth might be interested given their injury crisis, would be really hard to turn down. Regardless of how settled he is here there's no danger he would turn down such a move. I also wouldn't be surprised if the tims bid for him but I can't see milne selling to them mid season.
  17. I have had a growing feeling the past few months that we may lose him this January, this adds to it.
  18. 2-2 final score at tynecastle, what a ping by sow to level the game late at the end. Rogic's was a cracker too.
  19. He was soooooo bad today
  20. I'll be disappointed if we don't play ict off the park here, they nearly lost to fucking utd at home ffs. I would be keeping Shinnie at lb, ict like to play the patient passing game and having pacy fb's on both sides would really help us counter attack them effectively so same team bar Reynolds in for Quinn for me. In Supporters bus/golf club Main Supporters bus back to Inverness 3-0 Hayes, Rooney, Goodwillie I said at the start of the month that we had a real chance of a maximum points December and it warms the cockles of my normally cynical heart to see this unfolding. Not that I want to tempt fate but it really looks like the resurgent plastic whistle are biggest threat to that now.
  21. I really worry we're going to lose him from lack of game time
  22. Mark McGhee all sins are forgiven for a few a hours
  23. Just watching falkirk v orribles. Danny Rogers has played really well, some good saves and looks to have a good command of his area. Not only that just saved an injury time penalty top stop the huns from equalizing. In short he looks ready to take the no1 spot, ward has been great for us but I hope Rogers is in nets next season. Ft 2-1 falkirk
  24. True dat. Killie away has classically been a tough fixture for us but I am confident we have enough about us to win comfortably. Out Playing darts Online commentary playing darts Walk the dog 3-1 dons Taylor, Rooney, Mcginn
