As usual you're missing the point, and still haven't got over the reasons why Scotland didn't say "Yes" the last time. Anyway, there's more anti-Brexit sentiment in Scotland than there is pro-independence. But as an academic (can't remember who) stated in the Guardian a couple of months back, Scottish independence will come from something the English do, not a drive from Scotland, and that's exactly what will happen. Many will now vote for independence partly because they reject this hard-right Brexit that will be forced upon us - and I'll certainly be one of them. Obviously there is now the added complication that a sub-section of the Scottish population want Brexit AND Scottish Independence.

Time to admit I was wrong, I said it would never happen, but it will now. I'm not sure *everybody* who voted for BoJo last night realise that it will still drag on for a number of years yet. I blame Labour, the Lib Dems and the so-called "Peoples Vote" cabal for playing their cards very poorly.

Agreed, independence unstoppable if this exit poll is correct. Exit poll predicting both Aberdeenshire West & Kincardineshire and Aberdeen South both to go to SNP. Aberdeen North to stay SNP.

I postal voted a couple of weeks ago to boot the Tory out through tactical voting. Its not rocket science in Aberdeenshire who to vote for if you're anti-Tory / anti-Brexit. As an aside, Led by Donkeys do a fantastic job, their Instagram page is brilliant.

Hopefully a hung parliament (rather than a Tory win) and some sort of coalition can release us from this hell. Voting for the Tories or voting for Brexit is the same thing. Both hand the UK over to be run by a shower of self serving right-wing cunts.

Finally watched it. Very good and fair play to him for allowing the major op to be filmed. Would have been nice if it had finished on his win against Wawrinka. But what was the point in interviewing Lendl, Mauresmo, Nadal, Federer etc... they were on screen for barely 10 seconds. Odd. Would have loved to have heard more, especially from Lendl.

Well I hate to disagree but if the Tories some how manage to force a hard Brexit or even a no deal down Scotland’s throats, there will be many more voting for independence.

Murray will not win this. He’s done brilliantly and it was so good to see yesterday. But the two female athletes and some cricketer will be in with better shouts. Although Cricket is barely a sport.
