  1. Scott Booth could be a good shout. He's bound to have worked his way through the Glasgow City squad by now, and probably turned a few...
  2. I’ve never heard of him but some are saying it’s a hoax.
  3. He’s just approaching his 90th birthday. Allegedly.

  5. Best for all parties, however no official announcement yet? Press doing Cormack’s dirty work?
  6. Just back. Cracking atmosphere in the South Stand at full time, great to see us get a point at home. Nipped into Archibald Simpson’s on the way home for a quick pint. What a bounce!! It was electric. Great to see the city get a big lift from a superb point against Hamilton. COYR!!!! Onwards and upwards. 5th is ours! ?
  7. Sad news, seemed a very likeable chap. Co-commentated on Gothenburg of course!
  8. The Q&A has been binned.
  9. Darren Mackie spotted at Cormack park training with the squad. He’s 39. Could still do a job till end of season.
  10. Yes we should bite their arms off. Unfortunately I feel this will help keep the lights on rather than lead to investment in the playing staff.
  11. Yep. It’s been good, with lots of style AND substance.
  12. Cloris Leachman. Played a great role in Young Frankenstein.
  13. Andy Gray from City Lights.
  14. Celtic confirm one Covid-19 case two days after squad returned from Dubai training trip. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/55611659
  15. To be a fly on the wall when Trump found out his Twitter account was shut down. His presidency as been a slow car crash but it’s finishing as an absolute train wreck. I would have thought it was in the GOP’s interests to see him impeached, as it would prevent him running for office again as a new party if that’s what he’s planning. I think the Republican Party are in a right mess now.
  16. Salmond accuses Sturgeon of misleading parliament https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-scotland-politics-55593864 So what’s he up to here? If his allegations are true, or if he believes them to be true, this could rip the SNP apart?! Personally it feels like a classic deflect tactic given he’s already said he acted at times inappropriately (but was cleared in court obviously). I just can’t see what he’s trying to achieve other than to benefit his ego.
  17. Trump “we love you, you’re very special”. Well he’s not wrong there ?
  18. Looks like national guard and state troopers have got the nod now. What an embarrassment. Surely Trump will finally be isolated from some of his Republican sympathisers after this.
  19. The title of this thread has never seemed so apt. Looking pretty tasty over in Washington just now!!
  20. My Mu! Fantastic act. Amazing they can still make the news (literally) after all these years. Great to see they’re releasing stuff to stream, including remastered singles and videos so far. I personally would prefer the option to buy!
  21. Sort of a film, but I watched "Lennox Lewis: The Untold Story" on Amazon Prime. Dr Dre narrates it. Very good. Lennox was/is an absolute class act inside and outside of the ring, and there were some good insights, particularly about his two defeats. That "draw" in the first Holyfield fight still grates for me - I remember it well, he absolutely battered him. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7140274/
  22. Yep, we're starting to look like the lonely isolated country that presumably some Brexiteers wanted, but its taken the French to concentrate minds, as only the French can. What an absolute shit show, and its going to be tough times ahead. An absolute perfect storm as you say Tom.
  23. Whatever happened to Rocket ?
  24. Willie Garner: https://www.brioretirement.co.uk/news-and-events/2020/meet-our-new-ambassador-willie-garner/?utm_source=Facebook&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=SocialSignIn
  25. Peter Alliss. Back in the day he was one of the great commentators, with a very decent sense of humour. Very memorable when van de velde lost his marbles at Carnoustie the year Lawrie won.
