I was across in Spain at the time of the Ebola case in Madrid. Spaniards I spoke to are convinced that their country is number one target in Europe for that very reason. France is a target historically for the fanatics because in the 7th/8th century the Muslim religion spread rapidly up through Europe and made it as far as southern France until they were defeated in around 750. Long after that they maintained a state in Al-Andalus ( modern day Spain & Portugal) but were eventually driven from the continent. Many radicals apparently view Spain as their number one target in Europe for this very reason. Fucked up world we live in
