  1. Not just news at 10 Lunchtime news was the same and I suspect the 630pm news was too
  2. Unfortunately they got Hibs. Thats still a big market for them. County v St Johnstone may have sent cockwomble and his cohorts over the edge particularly given they had a 'small' scottish cup final last year. Side-note: The match apparently 'had' to be played at Hampden because other than Ibrox it was the only 'neutral' stadium with a large enough capacity for the demand from 'the best fans in the world' Attendance: 22,130 Easter Road Capacity - 20,421 Pittodrie Capacity - 20,961
  3. That'll do nicely
  4. League cup semi final shite. Joke that it is in Glasgow for a start but County seem to have forgotten how to defend and seem to be pretending griffiths isnt on the pitch. Really hope this improves.
  5. Editor of the herald said he had nothing to do with it. Came from the a much more senior level (closer to Murdoch) NUJ seemingly taking an interest now
  6. Jack Grimmer today http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/35451758
  7. Good timing that. Prior to last weeks hammering by the arabs, several pundits were bigging him up saying how he was steadying the ship and building for the future.
  8. Please don't say the admins have also been threatened with the loss of £40k of bus company advertisement revenue
  9. Having the highlights on the BBC website before the show even starts makes it pointless If they put it on Saturday night before (even after) match of the day then it may be save-able
  10. Halliday sent off for Sevco for the strength of his celebration' at their second goal.
  11. Seems the powers at be having a cracking couple of days Hamilton telling them to get stuffed and now seemingly shafting St Johnstone fans further by denying them extra tickets for saturdays semi final at Tynecastle (Saints wanted it played at Tanndice). 3400 saints fans vs 12500 hibs (who still havent sold out their allocation). Really hoping for a St Johnstone vs Ross County Final to piss off the sponsors again
  12. At least it was a deflected shot rather than a full force return. Family guy calling it right
  13. Prediction. Massive queues outside due to the express ticket system failing
  14. Usual Bullshit from scottish football 1995 - Huntly 1-3 Dundee United (Played at Christie Park, Huntly) 1996 - Keith 1-10 Sevco (Played at Pittodrie because Kynoch Park was deemed unsuitable) 1996 - Whitehill Welfare 0-3 Celtic (Played at Easter Road because Ferguson Park was deemed unsuitable) 1996 - Inverness CT 0-3 Sevco (Played at Tanndice because Telford Street Park was deemed unsuitable) This is up there with the pathetic 6000 (formerly 10000) seat rule for premier stadiums (a rule purely to satisfy the marauding hordes)
  15. FFS Hamilton Not even 30mins gone and 4-0 down at yon Tic
  16. Have to hand it to the dons. Self destruction is an art that is difficult to master. Still baffles me that so many players in the team appear to be so 'one footed' The guys who took our very basic football training back when I was in school used to go on and on about how you would never be a professional if you could only use one foot. But then again they were from Ross County's coaching staff
  17. I'm going to wikipedia to look up 'Mark McGhee'
  18. Seems Stokes is flashing his knickers at a lot of teams Hibs, Arabs and Caley all agreed deals to take him on loan now but I reckon he will be Easter Road bound. Hopefully that would make hibs buck up their ideas and condemn the blue meanies to the playoffs again
  19. I may be imagining it but it seemed to me that none of our players were looking forward until the last 10mins. They would pick up the ball in midfield in plenty of space and i cant recall any dons player turning and driving on. Instead they would stop and eventually pass it straight back to the defence. Hearts players on the other hand were happy to come forward and take on dons players. Considine was bad but for me Reynolds had a worse game. Last time I recall (at the moment) seeing a dons defence that disorganised was with Mcnamara leading them against Queen of the south. And again persisting with Taylor upfront rather than throwing on smith??!!
  20. Dear god Considine. Take a touch for fuck sake!!
  21. The midfield seems to be non existent. Ward's gesture when he received a pass-back and looked up to find no options up the field so ended up having to hit an aimless pass is really concerning but not as much as the laurel and hardy defending which sees hearts corners turn into immediate crosses from just outside or even inside the penalty box and what the fuck Rooney was up to. Priority is making half time with only 1 conceded.
  22. oh dear god the throw-in tactic from the Miller/ Hegarty era has returned again
  23. I dont think Reynolds will finish the game at this rate
