Bolton postponed their home game with Doncaster tomorrow night citing player welfare concerns because they have been playing their Youth team while they try to survive their financial issues. Slight issue is they did it about 330 this afternoon and annouced it on social media but apparenlty did not contact Doncaster or the EFL. English football is so professional

Looks like a laugh. Talk of Disney 'having issues' with it being released given it was made by Fox (now owned by the mouse)

Sol Campbell left Macclesfield during the week after 10months in charge. Seems they are in the shit financially with players threatening boycotts over unpaid wages and ex players now applying for a winding up order to get their money.

Found this little list after seeing Macclesfield town have been hit with another winding up petition, and the shit that is currently going on with Bury FC. The latter have 9 days to get their finances sorted or be expelled from the entire football league. They actually won promotion last season but have had all of their games postponed so far this season. https://yellowsforum.co.uk/threads/winding-up-petitions-lists-in-the-football-league-and-beyond.1949/ The media likes to focus on the EPL's spending power and how much money it supposedly makes around the world however drop out of it and you can find yourself in a completley different story. Reminds me of the spiel the Edinburgh Ghost tours like to spin about once you were outside the city walls you were basically on your own and the police etc wouldnt give a fuck should you go missing.

VAR Fuck sake this is gonna take some getting used to. Perhaps it would have seen a penalty awarded at Paisley today (still havent seen any TV pics) but the West Ham vs Man city, and Wolves vs Leicester games show the way things are going. Mind you given the rule about substitutes leaving the pitch from the closest point seems to have been kicked into touch already will it be the case VAR is footballs equivalent of 3D films & TV?

Got my annual quota of watching Dons games in person over early this season. had a bad feeling when it was announced 3 players were making their debut for Saints. Neil Mccan actually said the Dons dominated as if St Mirren were camped on their goal line with their Goalie getting a man of the season award. Every single fucking 'attack' (if you can call it that) started with Considine, McKenna taking multiple passes across the back line before suffering nose bleeds when they got near halfway and passing it back. St Mirren sat back, man marked and just waited for the misplaced pass or the slip. The goal was a defensive fuck up and moments later they got clear again and there were 4 st mirren attacking players in the box against 2 defenders which foutunately resulted in a free kick. McKenna had a great last ditch tackle (One rare moment of entertainment) but could and probably should have been 3-0 by halftime. St Mirren goalie had probably the easiest game he could have had in such conditions. After the supposed handball not being awarded (Never saw it as on the other side of the stand from the incident) for me the players seemed resigned to losing and only a few minutes later 3 passes cut the dons open and how the fuck it wasnt 2-0 only the Saints striker will know. The insult was bringing Wilson on just before the injury time went up on the board. Fuck all time for him to make an impact and as I see it showed McInnes had accepted defeat by the 80th minute and was either hoping a miracle would happen or couldn't even be bothered to play for a point at all costs. Yes McGinn was unlucky but that would have been daylight robbery.

So thats two mass shootings in 2 seperate states in the space of 24hrs and the 3rd in a week Gillroy, California - 4 Dead (including shooter), 15 Injured El Paso, Texas - 20 Dead, 26 injured (Shooter arrested) Dayton Ohio - 10 Dead so far (including shooter), 16 injured so far. Democrats calling for Gun control legistlation however the response from Texas Suspect not being able to get hold of a gun would probably not have stopped the attack......

They've moved to a temporary home while their stadium is being rebuilt Smaller capacity and not quite as picturesque as their old ground

So apparenty the Arabs are OOT of the league cup (despite what the BBC table shows!) St Johnstone OOT St Mirren OOT Last 16 looking like this at the moment (still 2 games to play although only 1 is actually relevant) Seeded Dons Tic Sevco Connah's Quay's Bitches Ross County Motherwell Livingston Hibs unseeded Hearts Hamilton Forfar Dunfermline Then four from the following (I think) Morton East Fife Inverness Dundee Ayr United

I only got to hear the radio commentary but the impression I got was Ojo had an absolute mare and Liam Mcleod even suggested Hibs fans would be smiling at his performance. Mind you Liam McLeod's commentary seems to be getting worse by the season. The way he described the dons penalty award made it seem like he had seen something the referee hadn't and it would be something to bitch about if it ended 1-0. About 10seconds of discussion about whether or not it was a penalty before he finally confirmed it was given. Really miss David Begg

Rutger Hauer - 75 Given the state of world politics perhaps this film of his is a warning of things to come (probably NSFW)

I seriously doubt any club actually looks at the away allocaiton at Pittodrie and thinks 'hey they give our fans lots, lets give them a bigger allocation at our ground. Away fan allocation at stadiums is based on the following factors 1) Capacity of away end 2) Likely hood of security problems 3) Potential of a large away following impacting on 'home advantage' 4) Potential of 2 & 3 resulting in reduced ticket sales in the home end 5) Taking 2,3 & 4 into account how much profit can we make once we deduct the extra security costs, reduced home fans revenue, and potential stadium repairs and fines. The 900 tickets for theibrox cup replay was seen by some as the club 'chickening out' and 'bowing down to the old firm' however perhaps it should have been an opportunity for Dons fans to ask why the club would make that decision? There are some serious fuckwits in the Dons support and one of the most irritating is the drunken snobby ned who will happily declare the homes fans are all scum and live in slums (and actually believe it) at the same time as wiping the vomit from his chin while ignoring the small urine stain on his 'expensive' jeans and smashing his seat and others around it. Its pricks like this that put me off going to Dons away games and why more recently Ive taken to attending Ross County away matches. The difference in the attitude and behaviour of the two clubs supporters is quite staggering. As for sticking nets up between supporters, that for me is a sign the clubs have accepted their supporters are animals but will put a token gesture (sticking plaster over a crack in the dam) to show they are trying. Perhaps this new action will reduce the desire for many who choose seats next to the away fans to rush the segregation fence where the stewards and cops have to put up with the first wave of their bile and spittle. I don't blame the cops for not wanting the hassle. Cops are there to keep the peace and if several hundred drunken idiots descended on a public place outside of a sporting event its a different story but because its football then they are supposed to tolerate it?

So Mr Ashley won in court and now everyones favourite zombie club are facing a bill of several million plus apparently an injunction stopping them selling their replica kits which leaves them open to legal action from hummel Hopefully worth a few months entertainment
