Is it too much to hope this clusterfuck will actually bring about the destruction of the tory party and perhaps even kick out a few keystones in the control the privately educated moron class has on the UK?
-
As I suspected it was a passing phase so I've given up on the control pad malarky However I did pick up an RS-97 handheld with 3000 odd retro games on it (chinese knock off which came with British airways headphones). Cost about £50 and been a decent purchase so far and helped me get over my childhood longing to own a Neo-geo console. Just wish it had an N64 emulator but no doubt there will be a knockoff handheld one of them somewhere down the line

Perhaps I'm weird but everytime these stories about breakaway leagues emerge I wonder what is going through the minds of the creators. It can be tedious going to Kilmarnock, Dundee etc 2-3 times every season but at least there is a decent chance of me going and every so often a 'new' team appears in the league plus the chance each season of a cup trip to a lower league stadium. Should it ever come to pass that the Dons were to only play teams from mainland Europe (no promotion etc) the novelty would wear off very quick for me as essentially away fans would be removed and any sense of 'rivalry' would be fleeting IMO. My delight at seeing the failure of certain scottish teams would never be replicated with scandinavians/ Dutchies etc. I'm pissed off with the current stand off between La Liga and the spanish FA over the prospect of playing actual league games in the USA akin to the showpiece NFL games at Wembley and currenly the NHL games in Finland. Watched the NHL match last night (Florida vs Winnipeg in Helsiniki) and the asmosphere was flat, essentially a preseason friendly crowd compared to the more 'tense' feeling you get when the matches are played in north america. For me, without a decent atmosphere ALL professional sports events may as well be a kids 5 a side football birthday party. -
Distinct lack of highlights so far (Sportscene bizarrely missed both semis) so had to make do with this
-
They havent spoken to the BBC for about 3 seasons now. The BBC also has no access to Ibrox for Home games so when sportsound does provide commentary from Snake mountain Liam Mcleod and co are sat in a studio watching it on monitors

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-glasgow-west-46010613 The wonder of 'sunday services' Be interested to know how many tic fans were on the bandwagon slagging off Dons (and initially Hearts) supporters for complaining about poor public transport links to the semi-finals

Going to game from centre of Glasgow

In my experience there is segregation at Central station with Dons fans put onto trains for Kings Park and the Blue meanies put on trains to Mount Florida. If you get a taxi chances are you will get dropped off at the mount florida (sevco end) and have to walk through them so if you do choose that method ask the driver to take you to the toryglen side of Hampden. Getting back I would go for the Kings park train back to Hampden as taxis, buses etc will be in gridlock -
Stage 3 Building Warrant Registered - Timber kit elements (outbuildings etc) Stage 2 warrant still ongoing. I see the Judicial review is due to start on 8th november with the 2nd part kicking off on the 19th December (Bet the council love that last date)

Does anyone use a USB game controller to play games through emulators on their Laptop/PC and if so could you recommend one? I purchased a USB n64 pad from amazon but it was faulty so I had to send it back and since discovered said pad was not the most reliable product but various others don't seem to have the best reviews either. Wandered about pc world today and bizarrely the non x-box/playstation etc pads (logitech etc) don't seem to be set up for windows 10 I'm not really wanting to spend more than £25-30 as this is merely for nostalgia (megadrive, N64, late 80s/90s arcade games) rather than taking getting into the current gaming trends (personally the moment sony and microsoft got involved I started to lose interest)

Bad times at the El Royale Great Stuff (doesnt seem to be getting alot of media coverage for some reason)

Israeli's seem to be playing like Boneti's Dundee team circa 2000/01

Any way to have the SFA/SPFL listen to the views of fans.

Is it possible to go with the 'people make mistakes (see our various referendums) and learn from them' option and get behind him on this one? Or is it like the current tory government - you made the decision and that means you have to stick with it because if you decide something was maybe not the best idea, changing your mind and putting a stop to it, having another go, will undermine democracy blah blah blah. Get sentenced to 18years of hell every time you vote for the people who wear blue......(fuck sake that means Ill be 48 by the time they get booted out! Who knows how old ill be when cockwomble leaves!) -
Is this where the wheels fall off the hearts bandwagon?

Another aspect of football I find frustrating is the sheer number of players who continue to pick up wages at clubs despite spending most of the time on the injury table. I can't think of another career in which you can get quite well paid for up to a decade (perhaps even longer) for not doing the job you are actually being paid for (well apart from politicians)? or to focus on a rumour I heard several years ago about the Aberdeen football club physio/ medical team not being all they are cracked up to be.

Probably a 3-4 game ban given the club had the gaul to appeal

Legacy of the 10000 seat rule brought in by the likes of Doncaster and co to appease the evil hordes. Livi would have been quite happy staying with the original 2 sided almondvale (circa 6000 capacity). Rumour has it they recenlty looked to sell the stadium to a supermarket and move to a smaller ground nearby but nothing came of it. -

Anyone recall what happened last time they pulled that shit at pittodrie (robbie winters the victim)? Anyway as they go to Tynecastle next weekend, should that result in another defeat will the media start to turn on young Stevie....or will it depend on their efforts against the Austrians on Thursday night? -

Got a bad feeling that it will be livingston who cop a fine for it as they are responsible for stewarding at their own stadium -
They are taking points off them away from Parkhead. Tic have 100% home record this season If the dons dont take anything off them at Pittodrie then its another matter
