  1. 3hrs not a bit too much? Still better than Phil Kay's 35minute set I paid £15 a ticket for back in 1998 (yes 35minutes of which almost 10mins was spent running around the stage going on about how much room he had)
  2. what? You mean make a big fuss, hand out bans then just back down when celtic and Rangers lawyers turn up? Wasnt televised so no politician will give a fuck about aberdeen or motherwell
  3. Sounds about right conisdering what they did. Notice that Cheltenham got humped 8-1. Still havent found another bunch of cunts who lose 9 goals in a single game
  4. Ever wonder where their hordes would disappear to if they did vanish? Would Firhill suddenly be sold out every week?
  5. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rMUBDXetp9k
  6. just looked him up on wikipedia. Hasnt been updated recently
  7. You mean the semi-final that Porto were alleged to have bribed the referee? In the same season Roma are meant to have bribed the ref in their semi with the arabs.
  8. Perhaps its just me but I got the impression they were making out United winning the League was a bigger achievement than us winning the Cup winners cup & scottish cup.
  9. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/12860198.stm Really emphasises the decline in scottish football when the manager of an established SPL team is being touted for a club heading to league 2 next season. Has anyone here ever been to scunthorpe?
  10. As if the Broxden Roundabout wasnt bad enough between 430-630pm. Police are really going to enjoy that one
  11. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/b/brighton/9432161.stm Brighton's new stadium apparenlty ready in time for the start of next season
  12. Depends if Hamilton pull their finger out
  13. Now that is something all clubs should have started doing the moment Sky signed its first TV deal with the SPL
  14. Someone want to start a thread about Gavin Swankie and see how long it takes for Charlie Allan to write a similar article?
  15. Fuck sake
  16. Foster was still back in the Rangers penalty area so once yon hun was past Izaguerre he was bearing down on an open goal. As for mulgrew's? well thats for Thomson to know and no one else to find out till the Sun runs an exclusive? Nice that Thomson awarded a penalty then changed his mind. That should hopefully take some of the wind out of Lennon's conspiracy sails.
  17. Of all the things you could choose to slag off my original post you pick a typing mistake?
  18. Caley lost Motherwell Lost St Johnstone draw Still on
  19. No we are being inconvenienced by being sky television's bitches. As far as I see it Sky TV would not be the global bastard it is now if it did not have its football coverage. If sky lost the english premiership & Fa Cup etc I reckon they would go the way of setanta very quickly so they will bend over backwards to keep them smug but there is distinct grumblings amongst some english fans (lower leagues especially) about such classic past re- scheduling as moving Newcastle vs Plymouth, Brighton vs Middlesborough, carlisle vs Exeter etc from a saturday 3pm to a Monday, wednesday or Friday night. Until the major leagues realise the TV companies do actually need them more than the clubs need TV this sort of shite will continue to happen.
  20. Because on the same day there is an FA cup semi final plus Arsenal V liverpool both kicking off at 4pm. If our semi goes to extra time and penalties then it would be finished by about 330pm just in time to switch over.
  21. Motherwell losing again If caley bottle it at tanandice then we have the preferbial 6 pointer at Fir Park next saturday. Remaining Fixtures for the top 6 battle Dons - Motherwell (away), Hibs (Home), St Mirren (away), Rangers (home) Motherwell - Dons(home), Arabs (home), Hearts (away) Caley - Arabs (away), Celtic (home), Killie (away), Hearts (home) Hibs - Hearts (home), Celtic (away), Dons (away), Hamilton (home) St Johnstone - Hamilton (away), Kilmarnock (home), Arabs (away), Rangers (home) Top 6 still do-able
  22. I really hope this doesnt turn into a 'If you aint going then yer a dick' bitchfest like the 2000 cup semi final with hibs (sunday 1805pm kick off I believe so only about 5-6000 dons fans made it down)
  23. Yep Emirates have the naming rights to Arsenals stadium until either 2019 or 2020.
  24. Might be an idea to approach Conoco and see if they will move their naming rights to the North East of Scotland since the New Grimsby town stadium is basically dead.
  25. No chance 4 days notice to re-schedule River city and the one show to show the replay of a match they already covered on saturday?! Points of View would be inundated
