  1. Not to take anything away from the girl but he just didnt look like he was trying until Stewart stepped up. Having watched an entire 90mins of a ladies football match I think it would have done her good to see what a proper goalkeeper can do No idea if it is genetic but to date ive never seen a female goalie who 1) Can actually dive or catch or kick; and 2) actually looks like she wants to be there. Im beginning to think the criteria for being a pro female goalie is the same as being a primary school male goalie ie you only play because all your mates do or yer folks force you and you either end up in defence or in goal because seemingly no one cares about those positions until you reach high school
  2. Cardiff bottle it again. London cops must be breathing a sigh of relief
  3. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/13418295.stm Is this a new football tradition?
  4. Decent finish for the 3rd http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JeiDmFtPPH8
  5. Hamilton win and St Mirren lose Had to laugh at the open all mikes boy at the Caley stadium with his 'are you watching chick young!' shout as Rooney put the ball in. If we beat St Mirren and Hamilton somehow win at Mcdiarmed they will be level on points going into the last day. St Mirren are currently 8 goals better off though. Does anyone have a real preference as to which team they want to go down?
  6. Hes an award winning author who cannot spell or has a poor choice of minions checking his work. If you can show where the letter 'D' appears in the words 'Glasgow' or 'Glaswegian' I may consider your offer.
  7. Will you still be saying that if he turns up in an arabs or Jambos shirt next season?
  8. 3-2 final score Celtic now a point behind and have 2 away games (Kilmarnock & Hearts) before finishing at home to motherwell Huns have 2 home games (Hearts & Dundee United) and finish at Rugby Park must be a conspiracy.
  9. Wedgies are scotland shame?
  10. Back to the topic in hand http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/13238977.stm

  13. The fans already knew which is why there wasnt a full celebration and the players didnt come back out. QPR are basically promoted unless they lose their next 2 games 3-0 & 4-0 and Cardiff win theirs 3-0 & 4-0. OR they get a points deduction Bonus for me was Plymouth Argyle winning again. Despite a 10 point deduction and on the brink of folding they will definetly stay up if they win their last 3 games.
  14. 2140 apparently
  15. Perhaps its a case that goalkeepers etc are getting better but about 20 years ago id say the chances of a penalty being saved by any keeper outside of an actual shoot out was less than 10%. Seem to recall it being rare for the outfield player to sky it or hit the post. The fact Mcguire missed today only confirms to me that he is another Darren Mackie. The only difference being he is going to go on tour before either coming back with his tail between his legs or moving to Peterhead/ Montrose etc.

  17. Think they will end up 3rd
  18. Just watched them on the BBC first one is a penalty but not a red card. Personally I think even a yellow might have been pushing it Second one the tackle happened about 2yards outside the penalty area in the D. There were 2 other united defenders covering too so im not 100% about the red card either. 3rd one - Typical soft rangers penalty but how that is a straight red card is beyond me.
  19. Correct it was in fact Motherwell who actually escaped relegation in 2003 due to falkirks proposed groundshare with Airdrie being thrown out.
  20. Think the SFA should reveal how much profit (if any) they make from semi-final crowds like today.
  21. Designed with retractable seating so it is actually a proper multi-use stadium Had the muppets in charge of the London Olympics not originally planned to dismantle half the stadium to make a permanent smaller athletics venue they could have asked for a similar thing. They could of course have done the running track/ retractable sears thing at Wembley too and not bothered with a new olympic stadium at all. I Predict this new olympic venue will go the same way as the 'White city stadium' within the next 20 years
  22. Mcghees just turned up on STVs football program Maybe Partick fans should start worrying
  23. Stade de france does pretty well
