  1. Maybe Mackie could flash it at the goalie just before he trundles one between the posts?
  2. In common with most other posters, my first reaction when reading this article was: "Fucking heard it!" Same old pish, chat away to the papers about what they need to do or are gonna do - then it never fucking materialises. Try playing a bit better Barry, instead o' bumping yer gums.
  3. Whilst I agree that Calderwood looks like a right numpty after that result, I would have to agree that Langfield should not have been reduced to a nervous wreck by a few cat-calls, pies, coins, lighters and plastic cups. It should have made him more determined to do well and shut them up. Instead he bottled it big style and only encouraged further taunting throughout the match. Not good enough for the SPL. Simple as that. EDIT: In fact you could say that he was responsible for the nervousness/recklessness that seemed to permeate the whole team once Utd started playing a wee bit.
  4. Is that Lovell guy worth a look for the first team? Harumph...
  5. Lee Miller is a posing, powder-puff fairy. Dinnae rate him. Would rather see mackie n maguire or mackie n lovell any day. Mind you, Lovell is pretty fuckin useless himself... We're not particularly well off in attack are we? Shit... or defence! And our midfield is pretty gash an' a'. We are DOOMED! Who'd have thought selling Anderson, Clark and Hart would have completely ruined us?!?! I didnae at the time...
  6. Is Calderwood planning on fielding a skeleton squad due to the lack of ability/bottle in the available players? Boom, boom. Guess my sense of humour hasnae come back after all....
  7. No, no, no, no! Fuck United and their chairman. The fact that he is ill has fuck all to do with anything. I hope they get well and truly pumped in the final. Their fans were a disgrace and to hear Levein going on about how great they were with no mention whatsoever of their misbehaviour (either from him or the 'journalist' interviewing him) just about had me wanting to turn back to Tynecastle and give him a good slap! Cuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuunts!!!! (No I havenae cheered up any!)
  8. Our defence is a shambles and Langfield is a big pussy. A team that can't defend can't play football as they are so nervous both in and out of possession. I've sat through worse Aberdeen performances, but never been quite so disappointed I don't think. What is the point of getting to a cup semi to play like that?!? As far as Calderwoood goes; if he were a player I think we might define him by the old chestnut: 'flatters to deceive'. As for the players; a big fucking BOOOOOOOO!! to them - biggest bottle-merchants on the planet.
  9. Celtic at home. Tricky... But not impossible! MON THE DONS, GIRFUT!!!

  11. I used to live in Doha when I was a youngster... But I don't suppose that's much help!
  12. My thoughts (and hopes) precisely. Could work out well for team, despite being a massive pain and expense for those already en route! Glad they didn't leave it any later at least!
  13. Maguire - has learned little over the last couple of seasons except how to tackle like Christina Clark and pose about trying to look like Lee Miller with his bleached f*cking hair and colourful boots. Considine - Doesn't have the faith in his own abilities to do well at the moment. I've felt for a long time that him and Zander just need to be left alone in the middle to develop a partnership, but he gets almost constantly moved around the defence instead - surely to f*ck JC knows which positions his players should be played in by now?! - Or is that just stupid?
  14. Suddenly Clark's a goal machine! Edit: Just scored for Plymouth for those no listening to Radio Scotland...
  15. Was scouting about online for any Duff info and ended up with duff info instead... boom boom!
  16. I predict a winning goal from our new 'star' midfielder... Or he could go off injured in the first five minutes...
  17. Article in today's Retard: D-Day For Dons Rebels, Says Calderwood Jan 18 2008 By Chris Roberts JIMMY CALDERWOOD is demanding Lee Miller and Richie Byrne tell him once and for all if they want to stay at Aberdeen. The dons boss has seen Chris Clark join Plymouth with Barry Nicholson and Michael Hart also set to quit Pittodrie. But after signing a new deal himself and getting Zander Diamond and Jamie Langfield to stay, he wants star striker Miller and defender Byrne to declare their plans. Calderwood said: "We've spoken to Lee and he knows he we feel. I've also spoke with Richie and that will be going into overdrive in the next few weeks. "We need to know what the big man is doing. We will get talking to him again but he is away now to think about what we've said." In what way, shape or form is "the next few weeks" analogous with "D-Day"?!?!?
  18. That's a spoonerism and a half min!
  19. Nice one. I needed cheering up after reading the rest of the thread!
  20. "Despite what was in the papers I was always keen to stay. I am just happy now to have signed the deal and the situation is sorted." Papers over-dramatising contract discussions... as if... "There was interest from other clubs who contacted my agent but Aberdeen have stood by me over the past 18 months when I had a loss of form and was injured so I was keen to discuss things with them first. I am very happy here. I am really looking forward to the next few years and hopefully helping the club win some trophies." Loyalty from a fitba player... fitever next!
  21. As in 'life-partner'? So the rumours are true...
  22. Good stuff! Hope it's a decent length contract. 3 and a half years was what was originally being talked about is it no? If he keeps his form up he will still get a move in a couple of years and we might make seven figures out of it... Is it too early to start worrying about him signing for one of the OF in the future?
