  1. Have to admit I do still visit the Hat as a 'guest'. Its pretty funny watching a load of morons arguing in 'netspeak'. Is the average age about 13? Its certainly the apparent average mental age.
  2. I have to admit to very mixed feelings about this whole situation. My heart says 'Get them all tae fuck!' - but my head says 'What the fuck are we gonna do without them!?'. In the long run it probably won't make much difference; we will continue to be a top-six side with the occassional semi-final and final, and the very occassional foray into Europe. The fact is that we have no money, aren't likely to suddenly find some and have no real way to earn any more either. I just don't get why we don't have players tied up on longer term deals well in advance of transfer-windows/ends of seasons?!? At least then we might make a few million from transfers every now and then. AFC will survive the departure of the Jimmies and the 'Rebels', but without a sea-change at the very top, we arenae gonna have many seasons better than the last one and this. Particularly disappointing given how mince the rest of the SPL are at the moment!
  3. Ended up watching game in a wee local pub in Glasgow after discovering my new flat has nae reception!!! They were really good about it but and even got a few cheers going for the goals! Just. Simply. Magic. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
  4. I work in Glasgow with someone who is friends with DY and his wife and whenever I bump into her we end up chatting about him. She makes it clear that he is delighted to be back at Todders and is loving playing for the Dons again. Its nice to hear about a player who appreciates the fact that the team wanted him and is determined to pay back that faith. He has certainly done every bit as well as we could realistically have hoped. I didn't slaughter him when he arrived, but like most didn't expect or hope to see him starting much. However his willingness to put in that extra bit of effort and the determination he has shown has resulted in him deservingly starting most of the games we have played this season. I wouldn't mind another player like him joining to take a hold of our midfield and add a bit more steel to the team. Seve, Clark, Smith, De Visscher, Foster and even BN go missing far too often for my liking! They are supposedly all much more talented... apparently...
  5. Can only agree. He has been a total disappointment. I would be quite glad to see him replaced with a couple of younger prospects in January.
  6. Apologies if this link already posted, but I haven't seen it posted on here. Shows injured Dons fans and a lot of smoke and flares and Spanish polis running about looking forsomeone to whack. Not possible to see what is really going on though... http://www.elpais.com/videos/deportes/Batalla/campal/alrededores/Calderon/elpvidlmv/20071130elpepudep_1/Ves/
  7. Maybe... I ken a' cunt but me is in Madrid, but figured somebody might fancy a go at this... http://www.setanta.com/fan/ Be Setanta's Dons correspondent! A whole new career in the meedja beckons.
  8. I am Stubo72. Lifelong Dons fan, Superstar DJ (in my mind), and general 'good guy' (as opposed to 'wank'). GUASC member and escapee from 'the Hat'...
