  1. I've just checked, and evidently Oxford United are a football club that plays in the English League 1. Straight into the next Scotland squad then.
  2. The BBC's focus seems to be on the "community spirit, everyone pulling together" angle. Taking pictures of folk dumping crates of water off at community centres and the like. At some point these no doubt well-intentioned people will realise they're effectively donating stuff to deid folk. We're good at post-tragedy pointless gestures, not so good at preventing tragedies fucking happening.
  3. Sounds like you're getting somewhere. Remember not to confuse the advice given in this thread, and send them a jobby by recorded delivery. That won't end well.
  4. I was in the waiting room for 20 minutes. Got through eventually 15 mins ago and secured 4 x bweefs for the South Lower. Couldn't get four seats together in the Norther, not sure if that means it's selling fast or they're releasing in batches. Anyway fuck it COYR.
  5. Agree with this. Most British footballers who go overseas to play for a bit end up as better players for the experience. Frothing "eh?! Why would he do that? He could be playing in the Championship" -type reactions remind me of John Hartson slating Oliver Burke for going to Germany when he could be playing for "the likes of Sunderland or Watford in the English Premier". Good luck to the kid.

    Veganism

Veji Haggis is cunting fine. Especially with a liberal dousing of tabasco sauce. Nae idea is it's vegan or not though, so just ignore me.
  7. Shite. Forgot about him. Okay two of the cunts were English. Plus, weirdly, Tierney was born in the Isle of Man, fuck knows if that's in England or not.
  8. I think Russell Martin was the only one of the starting 11 who was born in England.
  9. We are weirdly dominant, while at the same time being quite shit.
  10. Red TV had him as their guest but never actually mentioned why he was out. Injury seems the most likely reason, although, from the sound of his hipster drawl, it might have been because he had a mad one last night down Shoreditch with the lads from the Mighty Boosh.
  11. Dundee must have gone easy on them in the second half. FT 5-1. What a fine weekend of fitba!
  12. The goal summed up the game - a scrappy one off Rooney's shin. He fluffed a really good chance before half time and McGinn did the same late on. The sponsors gave Jack MOTM and I agree - along with McLean he ran that game.
  13. A fine afternoon of fitba! Very impressed with the Dees who looked like a different side to the mob who played us recently. Wighton, O'Hara, Holt, Kerr all had really good games.
  14. Barton is a fucking cockend. It still amuses me the way he came up here thinking he'd cigar his way through the games and win player of the year, only to be totally found out and manufacture a "training ground bust-up" to give him an excuse to GTF. Prick. Just the two goals for Celtic at home to Well - poor stuff. Hearts only got a point against ICT.
  15. Done. It's just me. Feel a bit stupid.
  16. Commentary on Radio Scotland if anyone wants a less biased angle.
  17. Thompson's award of a penalty there really is one of the worst refereeing decisions I've seen in a long time.
  18. Liam Dick was Stranraer's left back and their best outfield player against us. I don't remember any of the subs standing out as being particularly good or pish.
  19. Yank fitba is my second favourite sport, and also exceptionally gay. I'm sure that's just a coincidence. Moving on: In Pub, likely KGB RDL comfy seats Pub, different een 2-1 (Rooney, Considine, some Harry Wragg cunt)
  20. Well it doesn't look like we're getting anything at Parkhead. But, in happier news, the Rangers are currently getting bummed 4-1 at Tynecastle.

    Landlord

I'd advise you to remember that rental income is treated the same as income from employment ie. subject to income tax. Assuming you are employed and resident in the UK, the law states that you should declare and pay tax on any rental income (normally via self assessment). Registering as a landlord (which you've already mentioned doing) alerts the authorities to your possible rental income, although I'm not sure how closely the local councils and HMRC work together to ensure that landlords are reporting this income.
