  1. Out of that list, only Alex Neil would soften my current mood, and not that greatly. He has experience in this division, went to England, did what he did there and is now looking for work. Similar to McInnes' story really. Whatever happens though, I sincerely hope it's all settled before the Europa League qualifiers start, that's very important. We need at least 5 key players and a couple of squad type's, and adding to that a new manager and assistant, fuck sake, what a debacle. Alex McLeish has literally been pimping himself out for every available job that's been going, I sincerely hope we give that a wide berth!
  2. Looks almost certain now unfortunately. Sky Sports Scotland just had their breaking news pish and it's saying that Sunderland have made an official approach now. And regarding the post above, I saw Harvey's tweet also, looking ominous I am afraid. Perhaps that's why all the players left that have left, and now Hayes, never thought there was anything in that recently, but could very well be the case that he goes now also. Fuck sake
  3. Can't be any bad to come from this surely? A step in the right direction and maybe McInnes will think twice about going to Sunderland ( If there's any truth in that ) as hopefully his budget might see a slight increase.
  4. And according to some newspapers this morning, they are going to make an official approach for him this week.
  5. At least all the gossip surrounding Hayes has went away for the last few days. I still believe there's nothing in it. Obviously at first I was weary, but I reckon they'll try for Roberts again and failing that, they'll go for someone else, a more household name if you will, as the Dhims seemed rather underwhelmed at the prospect of Hayes joining them.
  6. Andy Cunningham, of Bodger & Badger fame, dies aged 67. Remember that programme well, as was roughly my generation growing up. R.I.P
  7. Another rumour doing the rounds on Social Media, Lloyd Isgrove on a free transfer. Released by Southampton and is primarily a winger.
  8. Apparently Cardiff City have matched Celtic's 1.2 Million Pound bid for Jonny Hayes now. http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/transfers-another-bid-submitted-birmingham-13146634
  9. Here is a snippet from Hayes interview Asked about Celtic, he said: “We’ve obviously known about it for a while now. –– ADVERTISEMENT –– “There have been a few things developing with the club. “It means you are doing something right if somebody else is taking a look. “You can take it as a compliment. As far as I’m aware I am still an Aberdeen player. “I enjoy it there and it’s an old cliche but we’ll wait and see what happens. “I just wanted to finish the season with Aberdeen and I signed a new deal there in January.
  10. Side note, I see there's " quotes " from Hayes in today's papers in where he's saying that he's flattered to be linked to Celtic and whatever happens in the summer happens.
  11. Thistle released Amoo, and from what I have seen from him, he's extremely inconsistent. But he's a free transfer I suppose. He could come in and share the role with young Scott Wright if anything. But I very much doubt McInnes will be looking for that. Said it before and I will say it again ( Cause I'm a cunt ) Gordon Greer is a free transfer. 6ft 3" definitely a no nonsense type, doesn't try play out or anything fancy, good experience and played 20+ games in the Championship with Blackburn last season. And they also released Jason Lowe, the CDM Brown tried to sign a few seasons ago. He was Blackburn's captain last season. 2 Players that would come in and certainly add to our squad, without weakening it.
  12. Couldn't agree more, that's my logic behind it. Boyce and Rooney are definitely too similar, and we are not going to pay x-amount for Boyce for him to come and sit on the bench. Rooney and Moult would be an excellent partnership. To be fair though, I thought the same about Storey when he joined, and it's simply not happened. Mainly because DM won't play 2 strikers.
  13. Can add former Newcastle United FC midfielder Cheick Tiote to this also. Dies of a Cardiac Arrest whilst training in China. Aged 30 R.I.P
  14. Peter Sallis dies aged 96. R.I.P
  15. 84 Goals in 180 Appearances. Alan Gow, on the other hand, has 75 Goals in 363 Appearances. The prolific Gowser, and Stevie May spearheading the Dons Attack next season. Anyone spotted either in Greggs yet?? On a side note, our own Adam Rooney has scored 167 Goals in 430 Appearances.
  16. I know we've been linked a handful of times to Liam Boyce of Ross County, and I do agree he'd be a good addition, but I have to say, I am more inclined to push towards Motherwell's Louis Moult. No real reason for this random post, just simply stating a preference. I also reckon that Moult would be more affordable, either way, if he's not released, surely we have to use Miles Storey as a bargaining tool for whatever striker we choose to go for? ( Insert amount ) + Storey for Boyce or Moult, definitely doable for me. Would anyone else be in the Moult camp or does everyone else prefer Boyce? Edit - Quick look up of their stats. Liam Boyce Total App 268 Total Goals 129 Louis Moult Total App 235 Total Goals 82 Obviously Boyce has a better ratio, although Moult has been rather prolific in his past 4/5 seasons, scoring at least 16 goals in each season. Plus he's played 33 games less.
  17. I feel like giving up, but that's what they want. Spoke to Citizens Advice Consumer helpline again this morning, they said to send another recorded delivery letter, this time though, stating I wish to exercise my right to a full refund now, as it's becoming an inconvenience. Just a farce, taking it further for definite.
  18. Appreciate all the responses. Received an email yesterday from their customer service team, inexplicably they don't have a contact number, can only contact them by email. Anyway, they've informed that my phone has been sent away for a repair, which will cost £30 and I have to pay it I immediately replied, informing them that I do not consent to this, I never did in the first place, and told them to inform the store manager of my position. I have quoted several times, the Consumer Rights Act 2015, it is falling on deaf ears. By far the most farcical company I have ever dealt with. Total joke.
  19. Okay, so I have just saw someone on Twitter claiming to be in the know, claiming that we are about to complete the signing of some out of contract Right Back from Hull called Brian Lenihan, said it will be confirmed tomorrow. A simple and quick check on Google tells us that he's signed a contract extension with Hull City and it's in fact utter horse shit, I fucking detest this time of the season
  20. Imagine we sold our best player for less than a million and got a player in return who was only on loan and didn't really want to be here in any case. What I will say about this is, Sky Sports Scotland were reporting yesterday that Hayes was in Glasgow to speak to Celtic, but he tweeted he was on his way to Ireland, to link up with the R.O.I squad I would imagine. So I call bull-shit, think I have been getting my knickers ( Aye a wear knickers ) in a twist for nothing. Think the media are just trying to spin it for all they can due to their ( Hayes & Brenda ) history and then obviously he was having a wee cosy chat with him after the Cup Final, I am now pretty certain this is a nothing story. We are probably trying to get Christie back though, probably permanently, he's not keen, but willing to come back on loan, that's my take on this.
  21. Ideally the Victims will sign Roberts back on loan or permanently, then I would imagine the Hayes link will go away, but it's the same vibe I am getting from this one as I got with jack, in that his mind was already made up. Prove me wrong Jonny, please prove me wrong!
  22. If Hayes does go, he will by far be the most difficult to replace. Would a Greg Stewart be the answer? Can he provide the assists, goals, pace and energy? Who knows, I suppose he's got age on his side, it's a pity Hayes is 29 as he'd be worth more if he was in this form and 5/6 years younger. This is definitely a cluster fuck, if McInnes is staying, this is easily his biggest test in the transfer window, and that's without losing Hayes for now!
  23. Just read that Celtic have made an official bid of 1.2 Million for Hayes, no other players involved ( Christie or Mackay-Steven ) Of course, it's the Daily Mail, so who knows, but holy fuck, if he goes, and we've already lost McGinn, this is fucked. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-4564604/Celtic-look-complete-deal-Aberdeen-s-Jonny-Hayes.html
  24. Someone has strung us along, the club and supporters as a whole. According to McInnes, Jack told him he hadn't, and doesn't intend or anticipate, to speak to them, the likelihood is he'll go to England. Either Jack is a lying fucking reprobate, or McInnes was just trying to calm the storm before the Cup Final/Season Tickets renewal etc.... Either way, we have lost an average SPFL midfielder, gained one back ( Tansey ) and gained an actual captain in Shinnie. Life goes on.
