  1. Urge Overkill - Girl you'll be a woman soon
  2. Can't recommend this movie enough. Very slow, so don't expect fireworks, but for me, a great movie, stuck with me for days.
  3. Found this recently also, like it very much, also, the lead singer looks scarily like my better half's sisters man. Shame really, cause her sister is the better looking one and I very much would
  4. Interesting to see a few people comment that this is rather similar to Radiohead's Creep? Not a Radiohead fan so can't pass judgement, anyone else agree though?
  5. What about Tansey? Seems he's not going to play a big part in the starting 11 over the course of the season, given that Shinnie, McLean, Stewart, Christie & Mackay-Steven will be the preferred midfield I would imagine. Anyone else see where he fits in other than suspensions or injuries? Or will he be used more than I think?
  6. Would be bitterly disappointed to see O'Connor dropped. Have rated him since his first appearance for us, and the League Cup Final aside, he's been consistent. I love Arnason, I think he's calmness personified, but it would be unfair on O'Connor & also Reynolds, who has shown in the last few games his pace is still an asset. Tough one for the manager to call, but I am sure he will get it right.
  7. Been going a long way back with music in recent months, I tend to find it's a lot better than anything modern. For example, The Hollies, some of their stuff is pretty good ( Air That I Breathe, Long Cool Woman, Lucy etc.. ) and by fuck The Everly Brothers could definitely sing and harmonise like no-one else! Always looking for bands or singers I am not familiar with, so any recommendations based on the above mentioned would be appreciated, and please, no-one say The Beatles!
  8. Hate to be a negative cunt, but 5 corners in the opening 20 minutes and we've failed to make one count, hope that doesn't come back to haunt us
  9. They have disappeared. Rather disappointed that RedTV, after showing the Siroki tie due to decent ticket sales, have decided to give this one a miss. Radio it is.
  10. That's a quite shocking piece of Journalism if we're being honest. Aberdeen Star? SPFL Star? A club spokesman said " The club have to stand by their player " I smell shite.
  11. There's a couple of streams on ASU slaoG ( Read Backwards ) Will need to wait til nearer Kick Off to see they actually work though.
  12. I see Motherwell have added another forward to their ranks, and with Louis Moult still not having signed the contract he was offered, I suspect we will go back with a further bid. For me, this has similarities with the Tansey deal, player wanted to come but was taken out of hands by the club. We added to the coffers slightly by getting into the 3rd Qualifying Round of Europe, I'd be disappointed if we didn't add at least another 100k to our initial offer and see if they bite.
  13. Absolutely correct, I highlighted the bold comment particularly as it should apply to all walks of life, like you alluded too.
  14. Is Stockley still suspended or was it just the first leg? Maybe controversial but I would absolutely start him ahead of Rooney for this tie. Christie, Mackay-Steven & Stewart etc... need a focal point, they need someone who will hold the ball up for them long enough to get up and support him, Rooney just does not provide that, the man is still our most important striker in terms of goals, no disputing that, but we need to admit that some games are just not meant for him and this is one of them. I get that there is good optimism for this tie, and rightly so, we should be favourites, but they showed they are not mugs and created plenty of chances, thankfully it's just 1 away goal they scored. We need Christie etc... involved in their end of the pitch as much as possible and for that reason, Stockley should get the nod, had we still had the directness of Hayes & McGinn then I'd go with Rooney. FWIW my 11 would be Lewis Logan O'Connor Considine Shinnie Tansey McLean Stewart ( If fit ) Christie Macay-Steven Stockley For me, we would win by a couple of goals with that 11, and we'd have a really strong bench too, the likes of Reynolds, Wright, Maynard & Rooney etc... It won't even be close to that 11, but it would be my preference.
  15. And to add to our potential worries over there, they are very strong at home, but then again ,so were Rijeka! " Siroki Brijeg finished in the bottom half of their league last season but they are very useful at home, with a record of just two defeats in their last 31 at the Pecara Stadium. "
  16. I actually thought Siroki looked very composed and at times, dominated and passed better than we did. Had they had better forward options, could well have scored 1 or 2 more. Ryan Christie kept trying to drive us forward, but a poor final ball or being outnumbered let him down, plus he very quickly ran out of steam halfway through the 2nd half. Will be a difficult task over there, we really need to keep the ball better. Tansey tried keeping it simple, but overall, too many aimless passes and punts from those around him. I see that Siroki are 1 place above Fola Esch in the Uefa Rankings, we overcame them eventually and can definitely over come Siroki.
  17. Shows what I know. Welcome aboard Gary.
  18. The alleged announcement was only posted less than an hour ago, regarding the defender, yes I see McInnes said we need to add another player at the back so you would have to imagine any signing in time for tomorrow, will be just that, a defender. I still wouldn't be surprised if he's happy to get through the 2 legs vs Siroki with O'Connor & Reynolds at the back then see what's available afterwards.
  19. Not sure to be honest. Although there's now talk that there's an announcement coming soon and the press are there. All the talk is about Gary Mackay-Steven, but IF we are signing someone today/tonight, it'll be a defender.
  20. Fairly certain he's predominantly left footed, which would mean O'Connor would be our only right footed CB, and it's no secret McInnes likes balance. Although he has reasonable pedigree and I do remember him, wasn't a bad defender at all. Will wait and see I suppose.
  21. Last I read, it had fell through, the agent shouldering the blame. Anyone think we will actually sign anyone today? We have up until 7.45pm tonight in order for potential new signing to be eligible for the game tomorrow. Alluding to that list on EE, Moult, Mackay-Steven & Maloney still the main targets, but it won't be Maloney, McInnes already stated he's weeks away from being match fit, the defender Susac played 2 friendlies now and we have had bids for Moult rejected. I personally believe the manager wants a winger more than anything just now, will have to wait and see I suppose.
  22. Some images from Twitter confirm that the trialist is definitely Adam Susac.
  23. Under 20's beat Montrose 3-0 and one of the trialists scored, young Bruce Anderson got the other 2.
  24. 3 Trialists turning out for under 20's as we speak, would imagine at least one will be for Senior Squad, maybe the defender Adam Susac again?
  25. I agree wholeheartedly, and for what it's worth, we are still eligible to register a wild card player before the first qualifying round, up to 11pm on Wednesday evening, so it's still very possible that will be sorted, problem is, it has to be someone who is ready to play, or at least be on the bench. We are really trying to sign Maloney, but McInnes has already said he's weeks away from being ready, so it won't be him, we need a player who is as close to being as fit as the rest of the squad as possible. Unless of course he believes we will get bye Siroki with the current defenders and then add a player from the Championship, like a Hector etc...
