It'll be a back to the walls performance, but if means 3 points, I'll take it. Woodman Logan Arnason McKenna Shinnie O'Connor McLean McGinn Christie GMS Rooney Time for Considine to finally be dropped. I don't blame the guy remotely & he's tried to improve himself year after year, but let's face it, he's not good enough & hasn't been for a while now. I appreciate there are others needing dropped but we don't have the squad to make wholesale changes. The Considine dilemma is solely down to our manager and recruitment team for failing to play our proper LB in his natural position and for failing to replace Considine in general if Shinnie is now a midfielder full stop. Motherwell started the season brightly enough and seem to found a bit of form again after losing Moult, Main is getting good reviews, so we will have to battle again no doubt and hope some individuals carry us through to the 3 points. Can't see it though I'm afraid, I reckon Motherwell will come out the traps and our arse will collapse. Out 2-1 Home win ( McGinn with ours )

I thought ourselves and Hibs were pretty much even when it came to budgets etc... Could be wrong but I assumed we were very similar. I'd rather go get Clarke from Kilmarnock. There is no contest there in terms of fan base, budget and facilities ( eventually ) and again, he's already managed results against both of them with a much lesser squad, Mulumbu & Jones are the only 2 players I'd welcome at Aberdeen & they could quite easily come up with him. I think it's all pointless anyway, Milne adores McInnes and he will be happy to get the very odd cup win and the odd 3rd place finish under him in years to come. I just feel like we've rolled over and let this happen. All down to the manager and his negativity, if he really believed we could have taken something yesterday, we'd have approached the game completely differently. Another huge summer coming up for him and his recruitment. But we'll worry about that when the time comes.
-
Feels like McInnes is still trying to justify his negativity by selecting an almost identical formation & game plan in the must win games, just so he can say " See, I got it right, I told you this is how to beat them etc... " His comments post match yesterday were fucking abysmal. De Vries wasn't tested until the 72nd Minute and Celtic had 74% possession first half. This time next season we will be battling Hibs & Hearts for 3rd/4th spot and the bottom line is, the momentum is with them, doesn't mean it'll happen, just means their momentum is there. Plus, as someone keeps alluding too, as much as a detestable prick that he is, Lennon is at least ballsy enough to have a go at either Glasgow team, but he'd never swap Hibs for Aberdeen, I could absolutely guarantee you that. Next season, we need to build the team around Lewis, McKenna & Shinnie. Logan, GMS & McGinn are still good enough but we need more competition and players playing in their natural positions. I hope we see Considine take Reynolds place on the bench as backup CB/LB and get Shinnie in to LB. We have been crying out for a LB for years, and we eventually sign one of the better ones in the league and play him midfield. I get it that he's combative, but he can still be combative from LB but also still drive forward and get crosses in the box etc... I'll be honest, I think we've conceded 2nd place, the focus will be on the Scottish Cup now. Yesterday I finally lost any patience I had with McInnes and genuinely could not care less if he's our manager starting next season.

Eagles fanatic min, and was lucky enough to see them live at the Hydro a few years back, truly an amazing, unforgettable concert. Only spoiled by the Security threatening to throw me out for trying to get a video on my Mobile of New Kid In Town.

The more I think about it, the more I am tempted to go with ( apologies in advance G Stewart ) Woodman Logan Arnason Mckenna Considine O'Connor Ball McGinn McLean GMS May What you said about pressing higher up the park makes sense, and McLean is actually decent at harrying opponents and I'd rather he was further up the park, given his relatively decent shooting and creative side, than sitting back. Ball has also looked half decent in the last few cameo appearances he's made, I'd rather him than Nwakali
-
Will we have Nwakali & McLean sitting again? Or will he play O'Connor & McLean? Greg Stewart, for me, started to show a bit of form before he was dropped due to Niall McGinn's return, which is fine obviously as Niall has been a welcome return, but I kind of felt for Stewart, who'd started playing well in my opinion. He will 100% start, as will McGinn & GMS. Question is, do we go Rooney or May up top? For me, Rooney will never have a more dismal half than he did vs Hibs and May might not be fit enough to start, but then again, he got a full half against Hibs so he might be okay. I predict a run of the mil 3-4 to 0 defeat, and that would be the same whether Shinnie played or not.

Not so much a scapegoat, it's just that he was fucking honking. Genuinely in disbelief that he's from Man City, can tell you right here and now that he will never kick a ball for them, ever. Disgustingly pathetic performance all round though, not a single pass mark to anyone, Christie is a good wee player, but by fuck he was greedy today on several occasions that could have lead to something had he released the ball. Rooney in that 1st Half was fucking embarrassing, no other way to put it. Hibs drove at us time and again, in numbers, and when we drove forward ( no laughing at the back ) it was literally with 2-3 players in and around the box, we were horrendously open in the middle of the park and Hibs just played around us. 2-0 completely flattered us, really hope Hamilton let us of the hook by beating the zombie pricks tomorrow, although I doubt it. Not that we should have to rely on that, 3 times we have played them and 3 times they have horsed us, yet we are/were 3 points ahead of them. Another big game, another unmotivated, toothless performance, happy days

And in keeping with the oldies, you have to check out The Hollies if you're not already familiar with them. Excellent stuff. Really wish I was about back then.
-
If you're not afraid to go way back either, then look no further than The Everly Brothers, genuinely the greatest harmonies you'll hear! They have tons of hits and the not so well known album " Songs Our Daddy Taught Us " is basically all acoustic, some crackers in there.

Think i'd be right in saying that these guys became kind of well known after the Tom Hardy/Joel Egderton film " Warrior " and to be fair they deserve it, they're not too bad at all.

Alright folks, now before I begin, I have to categorically make you aware that I am a tight fisted b'stard and don't earn enough to fork out for Ancestry website etc... In saying that, I have been told numerous times that there are free, accurate ones available, so interested to see if anyone on here has managed to trace their roots/ancestors etc.... from a different site? My Dad unfortunately suffers from Pseudo Dementia and obviously can't remember certain things so I am really trying to trace it all myself. Papa recently passed away and my Gran suffers full blown dementia, so I don't have many options to turn too. Any guidance, as always, would be enormously appreciated.

Well I got a job and tried to put my money away but I got debts that no honest man can pay

Very much enjoying this guy.

Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri Genuinely a phenomenal movie. 10/10

Fuck off KennyFuckinPowers, you wank.

O'Connor will be Right Back & Ball will play in front of the defenders. Sad to see wee Jonny start for them, fucking sincerely hope he has an off day. In terms of the 11, it's very disappointing but let's be honest, it's not surprising. Can see this being a run of the mill 3 or 4 to zero win for them. Fuck sake

Next Aberdeen Manager

Paul Lambert anyone? Not sure if he would come but for me personally, a safer choice than Jack Ross, Tommy Wright etc.... Will feel he has some rebuilding of his reputation to do, much like McInnes I suppose in when he came back from Bristol City. That's who I would like before any of the other names mentioned. -

I have no doubt Wright is a good fit for St Johnstone, but there's a different mettle to being Aberdeen manager. And teams know how to play against him now, it's not as if he's coming in from a different league, or with a point to prove ( McInnes after Bristol City disappointment ) and Jack Ross has done absolutely nothing to merit the step up, I get that he's a young manager and St Mirren are ticking along, but that's all they are doing, not convinced they'll get promoted. We need a completely fresh approach, someone who can utilise the squad we have at our disposal just now, and someone who can rebuild come the Summer as the likes of McLean, Stewart, Christie and no doubt one or two others will be offski, I don't trust Ross to get that right, Hibs are building momentum, Rangers will spend yet again despite apparently having fuck all money, we need someone to come in and at the very least, maintain the consistency that McInnes has brought. Danny Lennon & Kenny Shiels won major trophies with St Mirren & Kilmarnock respectively, doesn't mean they are equipped to manage us, Wright is one dimensional & we would regress under him, it's only my opinion mate, nothing personal. -

Sorry dude, as much as I am against the idea of Jack Ross getting the job, I'd much rather give him it than Wright or Archibald. -

For the attention of the people voting for Jack Ross, can I ask why you think he would be the ideal replacement? I am in no way having a go, I simply want to know know why people feel he has credentials to continue, if not surpass, what McInnes has done. In terms of my personal choice, no-one on that list really appeals to me, McInnes was a surprise appointment and really, at the time, despite a fair bit of negativity, the correct one, so we'll have to wait to see. Wonder how long it'll take big Eck to say " they know where I am " -
McInnes to stay with the Dons
KennyFuckinPowers replied to OxfordDon's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
He said he can't make any assumptions on what another club does, for me, he's anticipating Rangers make an approach for him ( if he doesn't already know ) and I revert back to my initial post on this subject almost a month ago, IF they make an approach, he will go to them & Kenny McLean will be his first signing. He'll have the facilities he's been pining for, bigger wage budget etc...massive stadium & crowd, plus he still lives in Renfrewshire. As for his replacement, can't for the life of me understand why people would take a gamble on Jack Ross, for all McInnes has done, Ross would undo all of that in my opinion, and if Killie & County can attract Clarke & Coyle respectively, there must be someone out there of a similar calibre with enough experience but still implementing fresh ideas, who would jump at the chance to come to us. The likes of Tommy Wright, Derek Adams, Alex McLeish & Gordon Strachan can fuck right off. There was a kind of falseness about McInnes today and his touchline antics, he didn't actually look genuinely angry, frustrated or annoyed and our lack of urgency when they went down to 10 men was horrendous and strangely unlike him. Fucked if I know what's happening anymore than the next supporter, but that's my take on things. -
Fuck right off. 0 - 2 Moult again
-
They said Rooney originally, but was definitely Tansey.
