Practice the technology so that you are able to attend a zoom meeting. I had to find a new job at 50 and it was the tech that was scary, not the content. Definitely look well dressed and presentable. You can also have a background filter so they cannot see your actual background. happy to have a zoom meeting with you to help you practice if that helps!

So doak was our best player against Croatia and thereās questions whether he starts tonight?? Explain!!! we need to win, preferably by two, we should be playing our best 11 for this game. Unless heās injured why wouldnāt he start? Youthful energy and enthusiasm is a good thing, no?
-
I suppose itās appropriate to acknowledge that 3 of the 4 teams are playing for something so not just us. I could totally see Croatia drawing or beating Portugal. Portugal may even experiment with players. as for us, we always fail in games like this, plus Poland are playing for something. The norm would be that we are 2 down at half time again and get a 2-2, piling forward for the win and weāre plucky losers yet again. would love to see a good win, win by 2 and Portugal win, but I just dont see it. We donāt have fresh players to bring in and two hard games on 3 days is a tough ask. I do t care that they have a few players out, despite what I said above Iām predicting 1-1.

Can you post the link, donāt know if itās a US thing but I canāt find it!

Any link yet?? Is it YouTube or me??

Crazy not to start devlin. Home game and heās fit and on form. Nations league too, glorified friendly, when did ralston last play a full game or even decent minutes. Besides for Scotland?? ingrigued by Conway too, woukd be nice to have a decent striker. Dykes has done a decent job but not a natural scorer. A little surprised at mcginn but heās been shit for Scotland of late and this line up has better natural shape.

Showing my age here. Can someone post a link to the game, canāt seem to find it!

Not just vision, itās not an easy pass, especially from a standing position with very limited back swing. Iād say a better pass than the McGrath-sokler at parkhead and that certainly got praise. I will add itās the first game nisbet has impressed me. Lively sharp and hard working, plus got some decent attempts on goal. Sokler doesnāt really create that much for himself, nisbet looked fit and hungry!

Score definitely flattered us and the penalty save was huge. Agree most of the subs had a positive impact. Still think morris is best off the bench, but Iād really like to see Vinny start on the left if McGrath is out for a few games. I also think duk can have the impact morris does in the second half if fresh, just donāt think he does enough as a starter. I highlighted nisbet because I thought he looked a step quicker and sharper, and a goal and an assist was a great return from him. I see nisbet regaining his starting position next game.

Meh performance but good enough, and a good bounce back win. strange to say that for a 4-1 game. Not unlike the hearts game and one or two others where our opponents didnāt take chances. Our press has been a little off and I dont think weāve been as sharp, but the first 15 mins of the second half won the game. While we have missed sivert, palaversa played well. I will add, thought nisbet looked lively and sharp for a first time this season. Maybe we picked it up second half or Dundee got worse, stroll in the end. Job done.

Should have subbed topi before his goal. Meh haha! 2-0 , what a change in fortune.
-
Prefer topi but duk is doing more. Goal aside, nisbet and morris please.
-
Very even game. Weāve been meh so far. Miss sivert in the middle and mcgrathās creativity. easy to blame sokler but he hasnāt done much, nisbet will replace him sooner than later. Also expect the usual Morris topi sub. Would prefer Vinny on the left, maybe duk at 10??
-
Molloy. Again. Ffs. Thank you Mitov.
-
No sivert or McGrath. Donāt mind palaversa getting a start, opportunity for him and the reason we have 3 for 2 there. Sivert injured/suspended?? McGrath out for a month??

Her campaign was pretty much bash trump and try to scare people. She was asked a number of times what she would have done differently in the last 4 years and she stated she really wouldnāt have done anything differently which stunned many normal people who have really struggled with the last 4 years. Her messaging was that it would be more of the same. And that wasnāt what the majority of public needed or wanted. late in her campaign the friction between her and Biden became apparent and she started to distance herself but it was too late. She tried to talk policies but could not get out messaging that people needed or wanted to hear. The fact she didnāt do press conferences, unscripted interviews, or generally talk like a normal person hurt her big time. the dems in general are heading in the wrong direction to most here which is why I donāt believe any other dem candidate would be much different. Why a number of dems who dislike trump sided with and or voted trump. I think the number of people who voted dem is down, and they didnāt all vote trump or another candidate, they just couldnāt vote for more of the same. Post election the media have been asking if the dems will reflect and change their agenda to matters that the majority of the public are concerned about, the main three being economy, immigration, and crime. All three the dems have damaged. Back to Kamala, she scared the shit out of people with the way she ran things in California, and San Franās decline is partly her responsibility. Drugs, crime, homelessness, way up in what was a stunning city. Businesses are leaving San Fran and California because it has gone to shit. Lastly, when people saw things like her being interviewed saying she would be putting parents of truant children in jail for example, it became more apparent she is more of a radical left and people can accept.

Really hoping for clarkson starting and him getting back to normal, McGrath left. Think we are a better passing team with both, dukās very individual and hard to predict, even for his team mates. If McGrath is out I wouldnāt mind Vinny getting the start. as mentioned, weāre due a game to click and smash someone, at the same time, given last week any win is acceptable!

For the most part I dont see it as a slagging match although itās what Iāve been used to over here for years. For that reason Iām just really explaining my side but wonāt get into the deeper convo of guns, abortion, immigration , the economy etc. You get extreme views from both sides, and itās obviously a very passionate topic. i do factor in where people live and do feel that if you donāt live here you dont fully understand what is happening. For that reason I will ask where you are getting your info and how much youāve heard. If you watch fox or cnn here you hear about two very different countries, and both sides are extremely guilty of exaggerating, partial truths, and lies. id say itās even like rangers fans across the world who have never lived in scotland or even Britain.. Donāt think they realize what rangers really are. A lot of good happened under trumpās previous presidency which does not get publicized or talked about. You can point to things people didnāt like but thatās every government and leadership. As I repeatedly say, the democratic media machine has been awful over the last 4 years. Plenty of people also spout shite because they are simply negative and like to complain. We take it seriously and actually did something about it, quitting jobs, lives, selling up and starting from scratch 2200 miles away. Donāt think many people would do that and actually do something to make their lives better. my wife and I dont particularly like trump but having lived over here through his presidency and then bidenās, we cannot believe anyone would vote for the dems. I know people feel that way about trump and us. We truly feel the last 4 years have really hurt this country and the world, and we were terrified of another 4 years of this, especially the open border and the bussing/flying of all the illegal immigrants to republican states. The cost of living has gone nuts, weāre middle class, but itās a real squeeze now. Not only did we move across country, I had to stop being a teacher/educator. Went to moray house in Edinburgh and have been in schools since 1994, but life is so expensive now that I couldnāt afford to stay in that profession so had to find a whole new career at age 50, fuck!. The fact that education has gone to shit made it easier to leave and look for something else, but financially, the economy and what has happened under the dems forced me out of education. i know Iām in the severe minority here but I donāt see trump and Vance as bad as others. Trump is an awful speaker but is often misquoted and lied about. While he can put through executive orders, thereās also a process as you all know and I donāt see him scrapping democracy, this being the last ever election, him being a modern hitler, banning abortion, him starting world war 3, him scrapping the constitution and staying on past another 4 years. I do see him focusing on finance because we send billions overseas when we are is so much debt plus we need to fix things domestically. He will make significant change in government leadership here, like he did 4 years ago. Heās a businessman and fired a lot of underperforming career politicians. Both the dems and republicans have their corrupt pocket lining politicians who donāt do much and they are terrified of trump.

Especially all of the body language in the interview. I know heās a bit of an awkward guy and not overly comfortable being interviewed, but it certainly suggested heās not staying despite his love for the club.

When were you last there???

And he signs for the Huns next week! would be tremendous to get him to sign on again, been a huge player for us this season, and more. Money talks though and Iām sure heāll get offers.

To each their own, we all have our viewpoints and as I said before, Iām not really here to debate, but happy to give you my take as a Scottish cunt in America. Iāve heard Vance a bunch, including informally on Rogan where you get to know him a little more given itās 3 hours, and I find him intriguing. Having lived here for 29 years I also understand more about belief systems here, perception of race , social justice, crime and guns for example, and the relationship to other factors. In the VP debate I found Vance more diplomatic, eloquent, open minded, and willing to work with dems. But certainly strong opinions in certain areas. Could be total bullshit but he has plenty of people intrigued. He also explained why heās changed his mind on things as he grows and learns more, including not initially supporting trump in 2016. I donāt see that as changing his spots, more being mature and humble enough to acknowledge when heās wrong or now sees matters differently. Now if he changes opinion every year thatās certainly different. After being called a cunt along with 70 million others, I expressed why I voted, and why many others did. I canāt speak to Britain and how they do things there, I can only relate to my experiences here over the last 29 years, itās a fucked up place as Iāve said before, but the world is pretty fucked up in general at the moment, and I do think the last 4 years of US govt has made it worse. Living in California versus Florida is very different and governed very differently, like different countries altogether. Plenty of people talk about civil war or can the US split up, a factor in the gun debate. I can relate to that first hand from my Covid experience in California. Florida is certainly a happier, more peaceful, and safer place and thatās what I wanted for my kids growing up. Nowhere is perfect but in the media Florida and desantis were called nazis extremists racists and fascists, and the filth spewed about Florida from some news channels in recent months/year was awful. The comments I got when I told people I was moving here were crazy. No clue what you hear in Britain, but what I hear in most American media is not the Florida I experience. no clue what you or anyone here knows about the US but I believe you dont get the real picture. Discussed this with my family a lot who all live in England now. The majority of media here is democratic perspective as Iāve said, and has slammed trump and republicans endlessly, rightly or wrongly, some truths and some flat out lies. itās amazing the lies spouted and as I said in regard to global warming and EVs, itās really what you hear and what you buy into. Very hard to know what his true there days. Abortion is a good example since you referenced it. I think Kamala said flat out this week pre election that trump would ban abortion. Trump has said itās each states decision to make. Said that multiple times. He softened his stance, not changing his spots, just listening to people I think. Washington DC for example allows abortion at any stage of pregnancy for anyone of any age without parental consent. Some people think thatās wrong. Abortion isnāt getting banned here but each state will and have determined what they allow. I donāt see that as men telling women what to do, plenty of opinionated and passionate women out there!

Have you listened to him talk about that stuff? Or listened to him talk in detail/at length?
