  1. I know, but with Aberdeen city at 230k,and if you include surrounding areas to give you around 450k population, then Countys proportion of crowds to population is still pretty impressive
  2. A fine win.Never saw a stream but McGinn was in top form apparently,Considine also good.Downside was Bryson went off after 50 mins......turning out to be a new Paul Bernard Makes all the feeble results at the start of the season more frustrating 6500 crowd today (of which 2000 Dandies).Always amazes how many folks watch County, when the population of Dingwall is only 8000 or so
  3. Now out for this one as am working am.Shame, usually a good day out.Looks like we've pretty much sold out our end though.Good effort
  4. Should be up in Elgin this weekend,so will try and coax my armchair brother along to this.Dingwalls a couthy wee place, always one of the better away days. Hopefully stick with 2 up front, score a few goals and get the belief up a bit more .COYR
  5. Im not sure anyone is suddenly oversinging McInnes praises again.I thought we were ok v Killie, without firing on all cylinders.Killie were poor. Agree v the Old firm,if were going to get beat 4 and 5 nil,why not a different approach.Though I'm not sure he knows how to be any different.Any high scoring sides we have had seem to have been more about the mindset of a group of players at that time, rather than tactical nous
  6. Not quite getting his stuff. If Im supposed to see or get something,I'm willing to be enlightened https://www.google.com/search?q=images+google+mark+rothko+paintings&oq=images+google+mark+rothko+paintings&aqs=chrome..69i57j33.16594j0j9&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8
  7. Just hame.A 3 nil win while not firing on all cylinders,....I'll take it,though Killie had a couple of chances, including a superb save from Lewis, but overall I thought they were poor. Positives - Main,a bit clumsy but adds some energy and bite up front.Devlin didnt have too much to do,but looking more comfortable and confident.I like Vyner. He's pretty nimble for a big loon and quite a smart footballer. A bit more pace in some areas, and more imagination/movement from middle to front could help turn some results more positively.Weve a decent squad,i'm sure we could get more out of them Footnote - Had the radio on heading back.Stuart and Tam,is that the best we can do? Same intro, pattern and format as about 20 years ago.Canna listen to them
  8. Were a bit unpredictable, but heading along on the off chance of a good game.Nae sure what style the new Killie boss plays but we're doing better taking the game to the opposition.Forecast nae great, hoping the winds blowing into the SS In or Oot - In Furryboots - Mainer Pre - Work am,if not rained off Post - Driving Prediction - Who knows, 2 - 2 McGinn x2 Crowd - 11'452
  9. with you on the Bobby Clark vote.Ally Shewans an unusual name to be on the list.Long service aye,but in a mostly poor Dons era
  10. Sounds like weve been on the front foot and rewarded as a result.Should try it more often.McGinn been 'outstanding'
  11. 1 nil Dons,described as a training ground free kick.Ferguson the scorer
  12. Results wise, cant accuse us of being predictable.Tonight again could go anyway.I'll go for a 2 nil Accies win.
  13. Hills arent big enough down your neck of the woods and no Munros below loch Lomond, but welcome to join us for a winter hill wander further North.
  14. 34 is nudging middle age . Kenny,Cant remember your age,...was just going by your haggard appearance
  15. Cheers min.A fair change from the 20oC summit snooze a few weeks ago^^to this yesterday DSC00618 by , on Flickr
  16. Deeks probably still recovering from the over positive performance at Fir Park.Be nice if it was a turning point for him but wont hold my breath A meek performance in a 1 - 4 defeat. Og for the Dons
  17. Friday at last. A bit of boogie for the w/e
  18. Thought I saw a headline that Bryson might be back for this? Him and Deano in front of the defence and a cavalier front 4(cos theres not another option) to surprise Del and romp home in a 4 - 1 victory. MacLennan hat trick,Deano screamer COYR
  19. I ken moneys his God,and I agree he didnt become chairman thru love of the club, but I cant see what he's gained/gaining from the experience, apart possibly, from being seen as the local benefactor of the local club.Good for business image? Nae sure about that either tbh...
  20. Curious. What do you think Milnes own agenda is?
  21. Alternative Brexit listen Full length interview
  22. Easy listen - Chad Hollister
  23. Ive got a panel van he could be bundled into the back of....
  24. Comes a point when you just have to take that plunge. It would have been best for all if Derek had left on good terms at the end of last season with his stock still high, but while the signs were there that his time was up.Unless a manager is performing exceptionally,6 years in a job these days is longer than most. How Milne(or Derek) didnt spot the signs is a mystery, compounded by the 3 year extension. Ive no desire to see McInnes hounded out of his job,but it looks like it could get messy unless he pulls something off quickly. Do i trust Milne to appoint the right man? Nuh!! We just have to hope he flukes the right appointment
  25. If youre at deaths door soon, aim for the 5th Nov,with a funeral pyre/Fawkes night for the kids.Be selfish not to.
