  1. Beach End also had them back in the day
  2. Harper/Archibald....lol seriously though,Mackie with Rutkiewicz just off ?
  3. Felt a bit sorry for Johnny last night. He looks frustrated at L B. I would give him a run of a few games alongside Jet or Ramirez to see if he might be an additional striker option
  4. Thats what to expect with a more attack minded team though.Rather that than manage out a 1 - 0 with 85 mins to go. Be great to see McLennan and Ojo find what theyre capable of
  5. Luckier there, get in
  6. Unlucky Ramirez
  7. Steve Tosh believe it or not.Canna mind him sounding so Schemey.Top loon though, that aside
  8. Good opportunity for his Dons career to 'take-off'...ROFL Looking forward to seeing some fitba as a break fae the doubts/speculation/waffle.All the best to Glass and co. COYR
  9. Does that apply in Europe? Beeb saying we have a full squad to choose from
  10. Took a friend to the Sigma game for his first visit to Pittodrie. What a laugh we had....? Need something on Thursday to lift the pessimism.Dons 2 - Hacken 0 (Ramirez,Jenks)
  11. Good post min, agreed. ^^^ Caught the second half of the BK Hacken game today. They look beatable, but could give us problems given where were at in readiness
  12. Going by the mixed comments on the signings so far, would enough folks sitting on the fence re season tickets,be pushed over the line by a few more tasty signings.Eg say 2000 new ticket sales = appx £700k. If we bought for eg,a couple of £350k players. ie could we recoup close to that type of investment in ST sales? Not convinced theres enough young talent coming thru(possibly because McInnes didnt encourage it enough),but as things stand,if the Ferguson situation doesnt change soon,I think a couple more in would be worth a punt
  13. Ach lets see what he does at least. Its been a mixed bag of signings right enough. In Glass's own words, man management is his strong point,he may think he can get something out of each of them. Cant imagine Cormack settling for mediocrity if thats how some of them pan out.Still hoping for a tasty signing or 2 yet though Edit - Just earned a "posting machine badge". Am a bit overwhelmed to be honest.....
  14. Night night
  15. Good time to score.Croatia were getting on top.Could go any way.Come on Scotland
  16. Agree with the last 2 posts. Some of the comments, mostly elsewhere, have been cringeworthily premature.Ok,a couple of the signings havent set the heather on fire, but Glass sees something in them,or something that he can work with.Lets at least wait and see if he can justify their signings after a reasonable amount of games. Definitley looking more to the new season than i would have been,if only out of curiosity.
  17. Ach well, another cracking night of Scotland stress ahead.Much vino pre game ?
  18. Its the Retard and sounds like guesswork but here you go...https://the72.co.uk/238965/aberdeen-unable-to-agree-fee-for-peterborough-united-linked-jamie-mcgrath-from-st-mirren/
  19. Thought Ricos comment was tongue in cheek, also thought Haardons response was too(i hope ?),but hey ho...
  20. Its a bit weird seeing him in a Dons top. I was unsure about Robson and Flood when they joined and they turned out great for a couple of seasons, hopefully the same with ba'heid Broon ?
  21. The boy Paterson looks good I have to say. Wouldnt want him to pick up the Govan variant on his return or anything
  22. Cracking bantam....er banter ? Re Gentlemans agreement - if such a thing occured, its up to McMurdo(or the club) to explain what the terms were before greeting to the press. Why they couldnt insert a written something into the contract at the time??....
  23. Apparently when Ferguson signed his last contract,it was with a gentlemans agreemant that should an EPL side make an offer, the club "would not stand in his way". https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/19316921.lewis-fergusons-agent-slams-aberdeen-amid-watford-offers/
  24. If you havent done Gleuoriach and Spidean Mialach, definitely worth it if over again. Fairly easy Munro wise.Great views out to Knoydart/Skye ?
  25. No,the base of Gleouriach(fantastic viewpoint) is practically 20m right of the photo. The hill in the photo is looking West to Sgurr na Ciche and Knoydart
