  1. Enjoy a bit of the blues Fab Thunderbirds OGWT 1980 - great harp solo ...and SRV Texas Flood,Montreux 1982
  2. Good stuff, and good to see the '76 team again.Jarvies looking a bit old.Dont recognise the wee guy with the light blue jacket, and the guy at the back, right with the silver hair?? Williamson?
  3. Nae sure about Shearer there but would add Davie Robb and Drew Jarvie to the 'never paticularly rated them' list, popular as they were
  4. Keeping it local.Scotland in summer.... ....and then Scotland in winter with a bit of the Pyrenees in late Spring
  5. Ha Ha. and quite agree...we had more nervous moments(vICT) when we tried to defend the lead. How much the players want to win a trophy could decide it
  6. After yesterday, why change a winning formula.Confidence building at a good time, think this more attacking line up suits a lot of the players more Bit more optimistic about the final now,...but realistic
  7. What planet are these tw@ts on.All this shite shouldve died out in the 70s.
  8. Havnt seen him for a few years, but last time I did,he was in Somerfield,Torry, trying to chat up a nae particularly attractive lass at the deli. Not sure what he said to her,but as I walked away I just heard a startled "Noooooooo!!" from the girl, and seen him walking sheepishly away..... * Am reading into that what I want to believe
  9. Aye most teams feared playing us anyway, and his mere presence would have been intimidating too. Warm ups in front of the jungle were an extra bonus.Got each other at the right time though
  10. Cheers might need to take time off work for it though...
  11. Aoife O'Donovan
  12. Had steak the night too. You going to let us in on the 'method' ?
  13. Pfffft
  14. Wasnt called the blouse for nothing..
  15. Agree with the comments about foster. He was getting booed at an early age,17/18? If he'd built up some resentment i think it was pretty understandable Ash Taylor - I like him.Think with the right guidance he could be a very good player.Only thing Im not sure about is if he's at the stage where he would take any advice on board,or whether he's reached a level he's happy with, and unlikely to change. Just needs to back off a bit,and watch the game/anticipate things more Darren Mackie - When I first saw him,i thought he had something about him.Had the potential to be a Riordan type player(IMO, nae sniggering),but it was his ego that got the better of him,and in the end,i dont think Ive ever disliked a Dons player as much Late addition - Doug Rougvie,we all loved him,but he got away with being a carthorse because of a good team
  16. Ha ha ha. Helps take your ears off the shiteyness of the band
  17. In or Oot - In if hill forecast for Skye is good. Will pop in past the fitba en route Pre/Post - Driving Prediction - Unpredictable games these.Forms maybe picking up though, 3-1 Dons My arms have legged it ^^^^
  18. Fishing?
  19. Well,Its not a name that sticks in the memory for the wrong reasons,in fact I cant actually remember him refereeing any of our games. Couldve done a lot worse....
  20. ^^^^ That one was tongue in cheek, but this one had me transfixed whenever it came on TOTP ps Big Al,can you remember any names from West End?.We're bound to know a few folk
  21. ^^^ One of the first Rush Albums I bought.Havnt heard it for years Bacchus Plateau
  22. Thawing out after a soaking on Schiehallion today, with a couple of bottles of Skye Red(ale). nice
  23. Gone from not wearing specs til recently,to needing them all the time now.Getting blurred when I dont have them on. Slipped coming out the shower and cracked my head off the side of the lavvy last w/e. Let the good times roll....
  24. Looks like shes had work done but its probably just embedded bits of shrapnel. Had a hard life, ill do her a favour and leave her alone
