If McLeish said that then he surely has to be fired from his job. As an employee of the SFA he surely has to be absolutely neutral towards any team in the Scottish league structure.....  ???

Here is a video of McLeish saying it.

Although of course he didn't say "it" in that interview you gave us.

Nothing in that interview is even close to him saying anything wrong.

The Ibrox club are in talks with potential investors as they look to raise cash to hand a transfer fund to Steven Gerrard, who they will continue talks with on Thursday over becoming their new manager.

Good luck with that

PS....I really hope that S.G gets the manager job at Sevco. I have a feeling his ego will make him believe he is their savour even though he knows they are a total basket case .

Keith Downie said: “It’s my understanding that Rangers remain confident they’ve landed their man, their No1 target in Steven Gerrard. But he is keen to get assurances, perhaps even written assurances, from Rangers in terms of a transfer budget moving forward.”

Written assurances you say...That could be a major stumbling block in the negotiations.  :rofl2:

Wonder if Gerrard realises that the traditions he refers too include wanting to be up to their knees in his blood due to his religion.

A few today from the Man who would be King:

Quote
Dave King last night compared Celtic's domestic dominance to "a pack of cards" and predicted just a single Scottish title win could tip the balance of power in favour of the Ibrox club.

Quote
Dave King describes himself as the "Bank of first resort" for Rangers. Since leading the takeover of the Ibrox club just over three years ago, he estimates his personal commitment to it at north of £30m.

Quote
Celtic caught up with Rangers in just 11 minutes under Martin O'Neill... you just need the right management, says Ibrox chairman Dave King

Jimmy Nicholl criticised referee Steven McLean for the penalty award to Aberdeen that almost wrecked Rangers' Sevco's bid for second place.

Corrected that for Nicholl and it WAS a clear cut penalty.

Definite match fixing going on here.

Rodgers has never lost a league game at the dump, until today.

Rangers are ready to take the SFA to court, and the first thing UEFA will do is suspend all Scottish Football.

From league two to the Premiership.

The witch hunt ends, or Rangers fight back, and take everyone else with them.

I thought I had seen everything from these idiots but this goes down as one of their best yet.

Steven Gerrard is the biggest signing in Scottish football history.

Got me thinking who is or was the biggest signing in Scottish football history?

I will think about that

Gascoigne was infinitely bigger signing than Gerrard. Andi Thom for the Dhims was a World Cup winner and I'd argue was bigger. As was Canniggia signing for Dundee
