Italians have looked really good so far. Will they make the break through or will the Turks hit them with the classic sucker punch ?

 

Spain should have won by 3 or 4 tonight but some how managed to miss a bucket load of chances to draw 0-0 with Sweden.

Russia beating Finland 1-0 in first game today with neither side looking particularly good. 
 

Wales v Turkey up next. 

Wales 1-0 up at half time but really should have had the game won already. Missed a number of decent chances. 

Bale misses a penalty for Wales. Dreadful miss.

Wales win 2-0. That is them almost guaranteed qualification.

Italians 1-0 up against Switzerland and playing some great football again. 

Italy ran out 3-0 winners and progress to knockout phase.

Ukraine 2-0 up against North Macedonia after 35 minutes.

Ukraine won 2-1 in the end all but eliminating North Macedonia. 
 

Belgium currently 1-1 with Denmark. 

2-1 Belgium now. Great strike by De Bruyne.

Totally different looking team in second half, although still think their defence leaves a lot to he desired.

Dutch comfortably through to knockout phase winning 2-0 against an ordinary looking Austria. Our draw against them is looking like a really poor result. 

I don't rate Austria either, think Ukraine will beat them and go through.

I noticed that the Russian shirt has the same collar and cuffs as our shirt from last year.

 

OK so I think we need Turkey to beat or draw with Switzerland.

Belgium to beat Finland.

Ukraine to beat Austria

Those 3 results are very doable to help us gain a 3rd place qualifier spot IF we beat Croatia (hopefully by at least 2 goals) and/or beat England.

If Turkey draw with Switzerland and the other 2 results happen, I think we only need to win 1 of our games.
