BigAl Posted January 21 Report Posted January 21 Going back to the merits of Harvey Barnes for Scotland merits and debate, I have a feeling that it is all going to become a little bit irrelevant anyway. He is in the form of his life and I wouldn't be surprised to see England call him up Quote

He would be a national hero Quote

I thought I read somewhere we were 'hosting' them, and assumed the (A) next to their name was denoting that they were the away team. I shall research more before releasing my ire in future Quote
swaddon Posted January 26 Report Posted January 26 I didn't know that overseas teams were still playing "home" friendlies in Europe. I mind a few years ago Scotland played Brazil in London. I think it was at Arsenal's place. I can see why from a logistical point of view if most of their players play in Europe, but for the home supporters, it must be a ball ache to get to the games. Was at that game and it was at the Emirates. It’s money making scheme for the African and South American teams. Much like the rest of modern football the fans do not come into it. Yes I am a massive hypocrite and will be at this game as well before anyone says anything. 1 Quote
