That was utter shite. Agreed. It’s kills me when you see that lack of imagination. Very limited options on the bench to be fair but a McLean or even sticking tierney at left mid would have helped create. 3 center forwards prob just clog space and I don’t see it helping at all. Jupiter Posted Saturday at 21:56 Report Posted Saturday at 21:56 Hanley Souter and Adams shouldn’t play on Tuesday, they were all f@cking useless today. Quote
Jute2 Posted Saturday at 21:58 Report Posted Saturday at 21:58 That was a rollercoaster and typical Scotland. Complete shite at times and some great stuff at others. Result in Copenhagen means we are still in with a chance going into last game which I suppose if we were offered that at start of campaign we would have snatched it with both hands. 1 Quote

Can’t see us going with a new two in the middle. Hope to see McKenna instead of souttar but doubt Clarke replaces both unless they are injured. up top we’re so limited in options that I don’t think it matters who starts, all have their flaws. i wonder if tierney was intentionally left out today to play in a back 3 Tuesday?? swaddon Posted Saturday at 22:30 Report Posted Saturday at 22:30 I'm just looking at the qualification tables there. Sweden are bottom of their group with one point, but could still make the World Cup Finals through the play-offs because of the Nations League. Modern fitba is a joke. Quote
RicoS321 Posted Saturday at 22:50 Report Posted Saturday at 22:50 I thought Souttar was suspended for Tuesday? Or was that just something I'd dreamed. Obviously, Clarke would still take the opportunity to play Hanley on his wrong foot. Anyway, a great result, never in doubt. Nice one Belarus. Quote
OrlandoDon Posted Sunday at 15:05 Report Posted Sunday at 15:05 (edited) Disappointed in yesterday. We showed enough to prove we are capable, but where has that been in recent games. Feel like Clarke and Scotland are where we were with Mcinnes and Aberdeen. He’s given us respectability again but we are well past our peak and he’s passed his sell by date. Late subbing lacked imagination to say the least. Problem is, the next guy isn’t guaranteed to be successful as we’ve seen with glass Goodwin Robson and jimmy. It’s flat, stale, and old, and for the most part, a pretty poor watch. Change is needed. belarus delayed the inevitable. Nothing suggests we can play a full game against a decent side these days. Hope to be proven wrong and we are going mental on Tuesday. Edited Sunday at 15:10 by OrlandoDon Quote
Jupiter Posted Sunday at 18:02 Report Posted Sunday at 18:02 Our rugby team had an epic cock up today, that will be the football team on Tuesday too. Quote

Jute2 Posted 11 hours ago Report Posted 11 hours ago Current play off pots as things stand. There is still the possibility we could drop to pot 3 if certain results go against us and mean we face an away game in first round. Just need to win and let Denmark worry about the play offs. Quote
Slim Posted 10 hours ago Report Posted 10 hours ago I would say winning at home v Denmark is probably an easier prospect than winning away to any of those Pot 1 teams, except maybe Ukraine. 1 Quote
InversneckieDob Posted 10 hours ago Report Posted 10 hours ago So is it a Pot 3 team in the semi and winner of 1 v 4 in the final? Sweden then Italy anyone? Quote

Both Sweden and the Italians are shite just now, so wouldn't be as bad as a couple of the alternatives. Not that it matters, as I concocted a little plan to take down the Danes by sneezing into their chips. 1 Quote

tlg1903 Posted 6 hours ago Report Posted 6 hours ago Nerves are really setting in for this now, bet I'm absolutely no use whatsoever in work tomorrow . No idea what to expect, the Danes may well be a bit rattled after bottling it or they may be really pissed off and highly motivated. Regardless though we need to be on it from the off. It would be nice if we actually look like a team that wants to go to the WC and not the limp dicked dawdling around the park of the first 43 minutes against Greece. 1 Quote
swaddon Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago 1-1. An early goal to settle the nerves, then 80-odd minutes of trying to keep the ball until the big lad, Larsen or Laudrup or whoever plays for them now gets an equaliser in the 15th minute of stoppage time. We get pumped in the play-offs, then we can only watch on next summer as Trump hands over the World Cup trophy to England's funny looking captain Harry Kane. Quote
