Did the same thing not happen with Douglas Ross, when Johnson was PM. I am sure someone else will break rank, as I think this whole Mandleson story still has more to come in the coming days, I think that's why they holding off. Starmer is a sitting duck and someone is waiting for the right moment to finish him off. Only a matter of when. Quote
RicoS321 Posted February 9 Report Posted February 9 I'll jump in the freezing pool with you Anas, don't worry. After three, okay? 1 Quote

Starmer is a sitting duck and someone is waiting for the right moment to finish him off. Only a matter of when. Sarwar is looking at taking a hiding in May and is trying to shift the blame. Yesterday was purely an act of attempted self preservation and a very poorly executed one. I suspect the reason that nobody else put their head above the parapet is that they also know that Labour are likely to lose in the upcoming coming by election and have a terrible result in May elections so they are as well leaving Starmer in place to take the blame and punt him afterwards. 1 Quote
Mason89 Posted February 10 Report Posted February 10 Just saw Wes Streeting described as ‘The offspring of Ruth Davidson fucking Thomas the Tank Engine’ Anyway, it looks like it was him that encouraged Sarwar to commit political seppuku. 2 Quote
Jupiter Posted February 10 Report Posted February 10 Sarwar should resign, he really shot himself in the foot there. Quote
Mason89 Posted February 12 Report Posted February 12 Jim Ratcliffe can go take a right good fuck to himself. We’re surely reaching the ‘heads on spikes’ part of end stage capitalism This is a prick who played hungry hippos with uk taxpayers cash, then points the finger at immigrants? Its amazing that folk still fall for this pish 2 Quote
Slim Posted February 12 Report Posted February 12 Unfortunately enough people have already fallen for it, this just emboldens them. Even in the reporting of it, you need to go a lot further into the story than any flag shagger has the attention span for to see that he was spouting a load of absolute bollocks. The headlines are framed at the insensitivity (triggering the "woke agenda" numpties) rather than the inaccuracy. 1 Quote
swaddon Posted February 12 Report Posted February 12 Not the same Jim Ratcliffe who lives in Monaco to avoid paying tax in the UK? What a patriot. 1 Quote

A big backer of Brexit, but moved a proposed car factory from the UK to Europe, because it was cheaper. Still though, he is loaded, so he must be right... Quote
Jupiter Posted February 13 Report Posted February 13 He's nowhere near as bad as Newcastle's owners who like beheading people. Quote
TheDonbytheDee Posted February 14 Report Posted February 14 (edited) Rupert Lowe has started a new political party, to rival Deform. They used to say that the left couldn't win elections, as their vote was too fractured. Who knew their was so must choice for unhinged racists now. Edited February 14 by TheDonbytheDee Quote
TheDonbytheDee Posted February 14 Report Posted February 14 Sir Keith Starmer has told Europe that it must be ready to fight. I'm not quite sure who we're fighting though. We've went back to the 1930s. Quote
Mason89 Posted February 15 Report Posted February 15 Rupert Lowe splitting the spud vote is good news for the rest of us Quote

Russia who have been struggling for four years to take back their territories from the Ukraine are supposedly a huge risk and if we don't stop them now they'll be up for taking the rest of Europe. I think not. Every government that wants to look strong needs a bogeyman and it would seem Starmer and his EU bum chums have chosen Putin. I'd train my cannons on America. That's where the real trouble makers are to be found. 1 Quote

Bukta Bertie Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago Lot to be said for only having two political parties. One of each side. Personally I'd quite like there to be only the one but you don't get away with that these days. Quote
Bukta Bertie Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago Nigel Garage on a jolly in the Indian Ocean (think that's where it is but I can't be bothered doing an internet search) how ridiculous. None of the right wing cranks who are making such a massive fuss over the Chagos Islands sketch had even heard of the place before and now it's all about helping the Chagosians. University of Wikipedia glecks. Quote
