I'm sure there's been holiday threads before but I had no luck finding them during a (very brief) search, so I've started a new one for 2012.

And, anyone done the whole Orlando experience, theme parks, attractions, swimming with dolphins and other shite like that?

 

Doing a bit of research for a possible family trip there in October, and all I can see are dollar signs - and fucking loads of them.

Ha, that was the one route I was certain I did not want to do.  No Kiwi I have ever spoken to has spoken well of it.  Also, LAX immigration officers are cunts

I've sailed through LAX a few times, never in a kilt mind.  Possibly the most laid back US airport I've been in given their usual immigration antics and the amount of crime in downtown LA.  I've been pleasantly surprised each time.

 

That said it's piss-boring and a bit of a shit-hole considering the amount of tinseltown celebs that must fly through there.  Guess they bypass the plebs and don't spend any time in the airport itself.
