  • Just because you hear it everyday does not make it right. Mackay is not the victim of anything. He is a racist who got outed for his backward views. Nothing more.

  • Just when you think you can’t hate Darvel any more, they appoint Nacho Novo as manager

That's not how I remember it. I thought it was several exchanges with different people using his work email. Could be wrong. For me, it's a bit like the Brown situation, you show contrition, address i

Seems like the correct choice

Agreed, sounds like he turned down the opportunity to be the best paid manager at Barnsley.  Kudos to him for doing it, that or knowing his own limitations.

Surely there's only one manager at Barnsley at any one time?

Living/working in Inverness has stripped him of all ambition - he's turned into a hairy ersed haggis munching teuchter

Hopefully ICT's ( :wanker: ) bubble will burst soon and he'll be left with loads of regret for not going to Barnsley

I personally think he's better off staying at ICT than Barnsley and it arguably shows more ambition.  He could ICT into Europe.

Blackpool have been given permission to speak to Dundee United's Peter Houston regarding their managerial vacancy.

Why would they want him?  ???

Arab sitting next to me is delighted by this news  :hammer:

Might be a good time for Arabs to let Houston go with McInnes available.

Why would they want him?  ???

T'was exactly my thoughts

Shows little ambition if true.

I mean could you imagine Houston taking them back into the Premiership  ???

Won't be long before the chairman is on the blower with "Houston, we have a problem".

That is so bad, it is actually good

Have a +1

Avril to go back to utd maybe?

In my opinion, more likely to be Derek McInnes

My boss is a donny fan so he's been asking me about kenny shiels since they're linked with him. Naturally i told the truth about him being a tactical genius and a genuine ray of sunshine...

Apologies to Jute

Didn't notice you'd already posted that earlier

Quick. Ready the ROFLcopter!

The Blackpool Gazette reports that Peter Houston will not be the next manager at Bloomfield Road.

Dundee United granted Houston permission to talk to the Seasiders on Monday, but the report says: "The Gazette understands Houston is not on Pool's wish-list and the Seasiders won't be talking to the 54-year-old Scot."

How the fuck do you give permission to a club that didn't want it? ???

could be the chairman floating his name about in order to tempt someone else to come in for him and pay a few quid in compo.

Someone elsewhere was claiming he is the second highest paid manager in the SPL on about £200k.  If true no wonder they are trying to punt him

Sure I read somewhere today Houston "surprised Blackpool were giver permission"

Something not right at Tannadice?

Unless it's Levein they're after with Houston as his no2.....

Metro reporting this morning that Houston's contract at United not to be renewed in the summer as board want him to take paycut.
