tlg1903 Posted February 24 Report Posted February 24 It really is absolutely appalling how much stick John is taking for this. My heart really goes out to him, it should have been one of the best nights of his life and now it will be a sore memory forever. I'll say this though, Scotland has not been so united in their support for one of their citizens since Smeato stopped that attack on Glasgow Airport. 2 Quote
Mason89 Posted February 24 Report Posted February 24 My mate worked with Smeato. He wasn’t a hero to his colleagues Always felt sorry for the guy who broke his foot volleying the terrorist in the baws, yet Smeato got all the glory 1 Quote

Bukta Bertie Posted March 8 Report Posted March 8 Falling Down. Michael Douglas's finest hour. Robert Duvall his usual mercurial self and Barbara Hershey absolutely stunning. Top watch. Quote
swaddon Posted March 8 Report Posted March 8 I'm just back from the talkies, where I went to see the British comedy Mother's Pride. It was good. A little bit cliched, but it was a fine escape from the awful situation unfolding at Pittodrie. Four stars out of five. Quote
