Accies being humped by McGlynn's bairns. 0-3 half time, and very lucky to still have eleven on the park.

This isn't the right thread! Finished 1-3. Accies providing a masterclass in spreading around the bookings. Not sure how they finished with eleven.

A four year deal for him is pretty wild 😂

No clue if he’s any good but we paid decent money for Richardson, Morris, and I believe Ambrose, and currently have 33yr old sivert on a 3 year deal. To each their own!!

Lol

Funny if true, but think that one has potentially been rubbished although allegedly he does have other offers to return to the UK.

Thinks not going well for him in Italy with his club second bottom of the third level of Italian football.

Doesn't his missus play for Aberdeen Women?

Think she left when he moved to Italy.

Calvin Ramsay to Kilmarnock 😲

Not sure that plastic surface will do his injuries much good 🤔

Exactly what a few said in pub pregame about him going there.

There's no evidence that plastic pitches are worse for injury than grass. Would be fitting if McInnes resurrected his career and bagged us a few million sell on.

I'll stand corrected if I am wrong but I don't think Ramsay played under McInnes at Aberdeen.

Think he might have made his first top team appearance after McInnes was punted 🤔

Pretty sure McInnes gave him his debut in Scottish Cup against Dumbarton just before he was sacked.

There are studies in the U.S. that now suggest that artificial surfaces can lead to more non contact knee and ankle injuries. There are also a couple that suggest injury recovery time is longer on artificial surfaces as well.

That's the wrong type of fitba. Non-yank studies show opposite results:

Proper fitba

Although I think there's no significant differences either way. Badly maintained AG pitches are likely worse, but then a heavy grass pitch would likely be terrible on the hamstrings too.

The old grey matter isn't completely fucked yet.

Ramsay didn't play under McInnes for Aberdeen

He made his debut as a sub in March 2021 when he came on a substitute. Hegarty was caretaker manager.

He subsequently got his first start on the cup away to Dumbarton under the management of Stephen Glass.

Oops, showing my age it was of course another Paul (Sheerin)

In my defence, I did say it wasn't completely fucked 😂
