Been trying to look up info on our oponents coming up.  I have found stuff on Arab Contractors, & El-Itthad, but I can find nothing of use on Al-Alumimium.

 

Anyone able to help here?

The full name of the team is Aluminium Naja Hammadi if that is any help for searching.

 

Reckon they're the Egyptian equivalent of Scottish pub teams. So nil-nil draws all the way then, hehe

Aluminium Naq Hammadi clinched promotion to the Egyptian top flight, only losing one of their 20 matches on the way. They were dumped out of the Egyptian cup in the first round to Tanta, who were eventually relegated from the first division.

Anyway lower-league and non-league African and Asian sides have some cracking team names.

Arab Contractors (Al-Mokawloon al-Arab) actually have a decent pedigree.

Modern games? I wouldn't count on it Chunk. I was in Cairo airport and the toilet was literally a hole in a wooden plank, with a hosepipe next to it. I turned and walked back out again. I wasn't dumping there.

Outrun? Doubt it mate. They'll be making a welcome party for their latest technological arrival ... The Empire Strikes Back arcade game.

In Volgograd's 'airport' bogs there was some kind of dead animal.... might have been a small dog or some kind of beaver.
