Wouldn’t begrudge him, but think a year under a competent manager wouldn’t do him (or us) any harm at all.

Exactly my thinking. JT seems to have a bit about him, think him sticking around learning would be a real benefit to both parties.

3 points from a possible 18 in this current interim term, sorry but that's simply nowhere near good enough and as he was a massive part of the Thelin farce then perhaps it's time Peter was shown the door, for his own good as much as our own.

I like Leven. He makes some fairly astute calls at times (like recognising when certain players shouldn't be played on their wrong side), but then seems to follow them up with utterly inexplicable ones.

To be honest, I'm not entirely sure what role he plays when understudy, so don't know enough to suggest he should be binned entirely. In his defence, he's overseen a big turnover of players in a short spell, and been exceptionally unfortunate that his players have decided to take up red cards as their new hobby.

He was a large part of Jimmy's backroom team, of which every other member was binned, he remained and has shown nothing to suggest he was worth keeping on.

I have nothing against him, much the same as Thelin as well but there comes a point in time when things have to change and a full scale change should've happened long before Jan 4th.

I concede that it made sense to retain Leven if a managerial appointment was finalised before the end of Jan but we're long past that point now and adding Doc to the team screams panic by Cormack/Lutz as they can plainly see that Leven isn't working.

Leven has been part of several failed coaching teams and should have been shown the door at the same time as Thelin. For some inexplicable reason he wasn't and now we are reaping the rewards of our foresight and ambition. We are now hanging our hopes on every team we play having more players sent off than us.

Total clear out required - on and off the pitch, including Leven who’s been part of too many failed regimes.

He did ok as interim last time so I can see why he’s been put back in charge just now to hold the fort, but lets be honest, nothing has improved under him this time, nothing. Same defensive weakness, ropey goalkeeping, lack of width, often unbalanced midfield etc etc.

Times up as soon as we get a new manager, has to be…

He's not being helped by all the suspensions. Four red cards in five games is difficult for any manager to deal with.

I think he needs a stint as assistant manager, I don't think he's the man to lead us long term at the moment. Appears the opposite of Thelin in terms of temperament, but that's not always a good thing - at least with Thelin he would keep a cool head, and at times make smart decisions during a game.

Leven was losing it with the players when they were celebrating after making it 2-2. I praised him for that v Livi as there was a chance to take the lead before half-time - which we did - but I think with 10 men, and we'd been down to 10 for a while, you maybe just take a wee breather, and take stock of things. I think we got a bit scattergun after equalising and a lot of that came from the dugout.
