Agree that the old format was better and made European nights special. Knock out games are only bits of European competitions that are worth watching now. Sadly not going to go back to the old format as you say. Bloody Nora. That's confusing. Quote

Jute Posted Thursday at 21:14 Report Posted Thursday at 21:14 0-2 now. 2nd for Fenerbahce looked dubious but given. Quote

Jute Posted Friday at 00:34 Report Posted Friday at 00:34 Cracking game between River Plate v Banfield. Finished 3-1 to River. Monumental looks some stadium and one that’s on the list to visit if I ever win the lottery. 1 Quote

swaddon Posted Friday at 22:45 Report Posted Friday at 22:45 I don't follow English football much these days, but I see Wolves beat Aston Villa to avoid the worst ever points tally in the English Premier League. Quote
Jute Posted Saturday at 22:38 Report Posted Saturday at 22:38 Boca v Gimnasia on premier sport been decent. 1-1 currently. Quote
TheDonbytheDee Posted Sunday at 09:22 Report Posted Sunday at 09:22 I watched Sportscene highlights. Another cracking hit by a Dundee player to earn them a draw. The lad Congreave looks a decent player. I remember us all laughing at them appointing Pressley and having him down as first to be sacked this season. He's actually done a decent job with them, considering their transfer policy has been even worse than ours in recent seasons. He has also brought in some decent young players. Don't worry. I'm not campaigning for Pressley as our next manager. 2 Quote

Radiored Posted Sunday at 14:08 Report Posted Sunday at 14:08 (edited) 2-2 .... come on Ref, blaa the fkn whistle! Aye, that's right ... Ah wanted this game tae finish as a draa. Each tae their ain, but much as Ah despise Hearts, Ah fkn detest the Bigot Brothers far mair. We're nae gonna mak top 6, so maybe it disna metter a lot tae us Dandies, but a season finishin wi neither o' the ugly sisters as league champs wid be a fine change at least .... even better if Motherwell (anither team Ah fkn despise) finish 2nd or 3rd ---- and if we keep oor hands firmly on that Scottish cup??? ... We could hae a season far BOTH arse-cheeks end up trophyless. Noo that would be somethin! Good for Scottish fitba? Ah'd guess 'probably' .... It fair shook things up when the famous AFC broke the duopoly in the 80s. Encouragin' for ither non-cheek clubs? ... Absolutely! Aw but ... the co-efficient .... ... fit aboot the co-efficient if 'lesser' clubs embarass themsels in Europe?? .... Err, fa cares? ... It winna be us, so at least we'll get a laugh. The fact it'll be bad for baith shades o' the filth is the clincher for me. Ah mean, it'll be 'disaster'! The fkn Apocalypse! They'll be fkn ragin' ... Demos ootside the grounds demandin heads roll etc ..... fkn bring it on! Edited Sunday at 14:09 by Radiored 1 Quote
OrlandoDon Posted Sunday at 14:08 Report Posted Sunday at 14:08 Bollocks. Perfect result for hearts. Although top 6 games will be very interesting, plus Motherwell will have a say. Hate to say it, but interesting end to the season at the top end for once, just wish we were playing these key games, not competing for 7th. Quote

Bukta Bertie Posted Sunday at 14:42 Report Posted Sunday at 14:42 Rangers will win it. Celtic second. Hearts third. Motherwell four. More importantly Aberdeen will finish seventh. I Quote
Radiored Posted Sunday at 14:50 Report Posted Sunday at 14:50 (edited) Looking at the top 4's pre-split fixtures, looks to me like Hearts have the easier run .... Ah can see them bein' 8 points clear come the split, and would need only 6 points off Falkirk an' Hibs ... and 2 points fae the ither 3 games ..... less than that if the famous Aberdeen can tak at least a point each fae the upcomin games v the cheeks Edited Sunday at 14:51 by Radiored 1 Quote
