SS Red, I think you'll find plenty of Pakistani's do actually like football. When I studied in Manchester, you quite often saw them wearing united and city shirts. Hell they even have their own Muslim league so to say they don't like football is way wide of the mark. AFC I think were trying to broaden the potential attendees which I see no problem with.
