As festival season is slowly creeping up on us, I thought I'd do my usual and tout my TITP tickets to the bidder mug with the most cash.  Thereafter I'll go online, book flights and take in a festival with better weather, women and beer.

But prefer to keep on, keeping on and try something new, rather than hitting the same one every year.  Anyone been to any weird and wonderful others they'd recommend?

 

 

Bestival is probably the benchmark that other festivals should be following in the UK.  The sheer amount of stuff to do is very impressive.  I'll definitely be back!

 

A 15-year-old girl has been raped at the Bestival music event on the Isle of Wight.

The teenager was with friends at the festival at Robin Hill Country Park, Newport, on Sunday when she was approached by a stranger, police said.

The girl, from the Isle of Wight, was then raped some time between 19:30 and 20:30 BST near the main arena.

Detectives have appealed for anyone with information about the attack to get in touch.

The suspect was described as black, about 6ft tall with braided hair and wearing a white top with a navy blue collar.

I've got all their albums, new one is not too shabby but they'll never reach the heights of Community Music IMHO.

I'm going, it was superb last year.  Best festival I've been to.

It's the fest bestival I've never been to.

I'm really tempted to go to bestival this year.  Will depend on what my work circumstances are but fingers crossed
