Robbo's Rollicking Rock n' Roll Roadshow gets underway with the first of a run of away games. The action begins on Saturday 12th September at Rugby Park as the Dons take on Kilmarnock in the quarter final of the League Cup. It's probably on telly because it kicks off at 1745.

Buoyed by a clean sheet and a shot on target against the same opposition today, the team will be bang up for it, and I fancy a 1-0 win after extra time for the away side. Olusanya to score.

With both Armstrong and nisbet fit, that helps with selection, but I’d also prefer to see Mouloua over ntelo. I’m not convinced the latter is an upgrade to olysanya.

Don’t really see it as a basic 5, def see Cadden and GW attacking. Makes sense when your wide mids are crap, plus three central Mids helps us.

Five defenders won't be enough when they can't even do the basics well. Terrible.

Aberdeen are shite mostly. It looks like Robinson has picked the first people he saw coming off the bus but ones that know f all about football. Pathetic every one of them.

I was quite enthused when we signed Ronan, but he really has been quite a disappointment. His performance so far doesn't fill me with any optimism its going to improve any time soon. I'd rather see Marshall getting a run of games

BBC sport live updates making it sound like a terrible game. Glad I’m not watching it, at what point do we just put the youth team out? Surely can’t be worse than what we have had to endure the last couple of weeks.

Even if we scrape through this game, it will only serve to paper over the cracks.

We lack legs in midfield, pace at the back, creativity, attacking width & any ability to string a few passes together.

Apart from that.

I genuinely have no idea what the game plan is supposed to be - don’t think the players do either…

Aye, he's been poor on the ball. One thing he has in his favour is his coverage. He works very hard across the pitch, but unfortunately his touch has been poor, his passing terrible, and he can't complete a tackle (he gets the tackle in, but the opponent always comes out with the ball). The frustrating thing is that we had this experiment with Hun Cameron, and they're basically the same player.

Ntelo and Nisbet aren't a good pairing at all, both would prefer to be alongside someone that wins the ball and creates space for them to work in (although I'm fairly unconvinced by Ntelo so far anyway). Aremu been his inconsistent self, which is a nightmare in such a key role. Goes to sleep when he should be covering, gives the ball away, takes an extra touch, but also puts the only midfielder we have that can come out of a tackle with the ball. Happe unlucky with his booking, because he slipped, but he's been ropey as fuck, and Knoester struggling physically with his man. Cadden a terrible defender. Guinness Walker does well, generally, on the left, but Andy Considine got into the box more often than he does in that back post area, and he was a centre back playing wide. Robinson should be screaming at him to get those runs made. Armstrong the only player with quality, but he's sitting far too deep and he isn't getting into the box as a result.

I don't know what to do to be honest. I think Marshall or Smith for Ronan, and Olusanya or Mouloua for Ntelo or Nisbet. I just don't think we've got very good midfielders to support Marshall, and he'll struggle to make an impact. It's a really terrible balance we have in there, and I'm surprised it wasn't addressed.

Fuck it, get the new lad on in midfield and put him and Aremu into a high press and let Marshall sit in front of the defence and move the ball forward quickly.

Thank fuck I decided work instead of take the offer a lift down. Been absolutely awful. How has Robinson been allowed to assemble a team as devoid of any basic ability is beyond me. Expecting changes at half time again.
