Summer 2026 Transfer Window

Firstly no intention to wind up Rico ( but it is a bonus) by starting this more than forty eight hours ahead of January window closing BUT as a squad we are all over the fucking place and even at this early stage I would imagine we all would have opinions on what need to happen over the summer.

Appreciate that certain things might be addressed in the remaining forty eight odd hours of the winter one BUT given our performance to date, coupled to us being manager less, I wouldn't stake any money on it

Thoughts lads and lassies

If we bought him, he publicly apologised, took out a two page spread in the P&J outlining all the different ways Huns are pricks, then did a penitent walk of shame from Union St to Pittodrie, I’d

Also, it's good that Besuijen's 10 year contract has finally come to an end.

I wish we could see the Topi that was at Helsinki.  Quite a highlights video on YouTube whilst he was there.

And playing for Finland

Interesting to see what our favoured formation will be under Robinson next season.

We played a 3-5-2 towards the end of the season. Robinson previously was a 3-4-3 man at St Mirren, although this season played 3-5-2 as well. He appears to have hinted to a few people that he wants to play a back four next season, and he did say in his first interview with RedTV his favoured formation was 4-3-3.

Did I imagine it, or did we play a 4-3-1-2 on the final day v Dundee, that looked a 4-4-2 out of possession? Have to say, I did drift off a few times during that game so didn't pay much attention, but is that a wee hint how Robinson sees next season? Based on the current squad (and it is early in the window of course), that could be Briedl in central midfield, Keskinen and Lyons either side of him, Ronan the more advanced. It could develop into a 4-3-3 too.

Never mind this World Cup, roll on our first pre-season friendly.

Good news. Good age, and was a very good SPFL player before leaving.

totally this, I actually think he could be a very good signing for us.

You imagined it pal because quite frankly we didna play at all on the final day, never mind playing with any plan or structure in place, much like most of last season to be fair, and will be the reason for you drifting off a few times as I did the same (many games last season If I am being honest)

Anyway, last season was exactly that and is history.
Onwards and upwards from here, must admit to being relatively happy with our recent signings and if it's true we have agreed a deal for Ronan then that's another decent addition as well.
It's a good start, and still a lot more work to be done.

If he’s going to persist with a back 5/3 then we’ll need to sign some players who are able to play as WBs and can stay fit. I’m not sure either Frame or Lobban are suited to that system, hence they didn’t get as much game time as we hoped in second half of the season. They feel like more conventional FBs in a 4 but that leaves us quite vulnerable unless we have the midfield to protect that back line.

This opinion piece by Sean Wallace reads an awful lot like a tame journalist trying to groom the support into think signing Miovski on loan would be a good thing because the club have asked him to.

Edit. Don't mind the link BTW, it's just a webpage archive that's handy for getting past paywalls

I can’t see it happening but if we could get Miovski back we’d be mental not to take him.

Other than that, the Rat can go take a right good fuck to himself

I’d request a removal of his facial hair too, it’s not the fucking Ancien Régime.

Fuck having Miovski back.

Fucker knew what he was doing when he signed for them.

Surely we have to be better than that.

I'm with you on this 👍

I'd rather play Yengi up front than the hun rat

I'd have Miovski back in a heartbeat.

We're signing players who could be decent for us - Ronan, Briedl and the Killie lads. We've a few young players with potential like Frame, Lobban and Keskinen.

However, you need a Miovski or a Claudio Braga to elevate you to a different level.

Would it be any different to Hayes coming back from Celtic, or Archie Knox winning titles at Rangers? Or how we feel about Snelders or Neale Cooper?

100%, and as you say pal, surely to fuk we are better than reverting back to him.

There is a possibility that this comment might have to go out to the vote:
Is this just taking things that little bit tooooooooooo far, Yengi or the rat?

The second time rarely works out as well as the first. But with a suitable re-education process, perhaps a tattoo of Willie Miller and a promise to celebrate every goal against them by genuflecting on his knees in front of them, I’d give it a go.

Heresy I know.

Oh and a 30 minute RedTV interview where he confesses his crimes and swears on his mother’s life his agent made him do it.

And maybe 10% of all future earnings going to a fund used to eradicate Hun supporting in the NE via a school based “education “ programme.

I don't understand the point of being an Aberdeen fan (or any team), if you loan back a player who joined your most hated rival (from them directly, obviously). He can get fucked.

I can live with signing him. Loaning is out of the question.

Signing two players from a team that finished below us and unknown Austrian loon and maybe a rat bastard who failed at the zombie club, doesn't fill me with optimism for next season.

If the rat bastard does come back and things don't pan out well, it just becomes a distraction we can do without.

Just get the idea in the bin and move on.

Maybe some fans have the club they deserve.

Absolutely

Too much agreement going on here 😂

When it comes to signing huns, we should all be reading off the same sheet.

Just no.

How is Miovski a rat bastard and Neale Cooper (rightly) wasn't? Because Cooper was a legend? Doesn't that make going to the Huns worse?

Dear old Dons Daft would be going apoplectic at this use of various tenses of the verb (or gerund) 'loan' being applied to the receiver, rather than correctly using the verb 'borrow'.

That said, he was rather prone to losing his shit when it was also being applied as a noun - in which case loan was (and is) a perfectly acceptable term when speaking about givers and receviers.

Ah DD, how worked up you got over nothing 😊
