Summer 2026 Transfer Window

Firstly no intention to wind up Rico ( but it is a bonus) by starting this more than forty eight hours ahead of January window closing BUT as a squad we are all over the fucking place and even at this early stage I would imagine we all would have opinions on what need to happen over the summer.

Appreciate that certain things might be addressed in the remaining forty eight odd hours of the winter one BUT given our performance to date, coupled to us being manager less, I wouldn't stake any money on it

Thoughts lads and lassies

If we bought him, he publicly apologised, took out a two page spread in the P&J outlining all the different ways Huns are pricks, then did a penitent walk of shame from Union St to Pittodrie, I’d

Also, it's good that Besuijen's 10 year contract has finally come to an end.

Aye, I was struggling to get a text list of the squad on the internet (it's a' photaes), so copied off a random site. It still had Richard Jensen in, and a few others, and was missing Ambrose and Yengi, which I couldn't be arsed adding after I'd posted, because only an absolute mentalist would suggest keeping either of those.

I really don't think we have seen even remotely enough of Kjartansson to be making the judgement he should leave.

He reminds me of Dean Campbell. I was a big fan of his, but it was clear that he wasn't going to get enough of an opportunity that he'd need to make it. I'm predicting we'll see the same with Kjartansson over the next couple of years before he heads back to Scandinavia. He's not going to be a Robinson type I don't think. He should have been on the pitch before Palaversa last night.

100% he should have played last night.

Same with Lobban and I'd have had Suman starting too.

Wouldn't have gave a jot getting beat if he'd started a few youngsters.

Robinson has spoken a lot about work rate in training and also mentality and handling the pressure.

Maybe your Kjartanssons are getting bullied by your Palaversas in training and so Robinson doesn't fancy their chances in their first team.

As for shaping our team for next season, Mattie Pollock has just been voted Watford player of the season, which to me would suggest he has accomplished what he needed to there and it's now time for him to come home.

I believe we have something like 24 of this current squad under contract for next season.

FOR. THE. LOVE. OF. FUCK… 🤦‍♂️

This is last one of these I can find and Nilsen has since left which backs up your 24 still under contract.

Jack Milne - Oot

Liam Morrison - Oot

Kristers Tobers - Keep

Richard Jensen - Oot

Elvis Bwomono - Oot

Nicky Devlin - Oot

Graeme Shinnie - Oot

Stuart Armstrong - Oot

FOR. THE. LOVE. OF. FUCK

Milanovic 2028 is bad enough. Jensen & Lazetic 2029 & Bilalovic 2030 is a crime against humanity.

The fuckin transfer budget is getting spent paying most of this lot off… 🤦‍♂️😞

Whilst Ah agree wi' the vast majority o' previous assessments, Lazetic an' Milanovic have proven they are nae good enough. Palaversa has been shite on every showing since walkin' in the door.

Bilalovic tho, Ah reckon is worth a punt, Kjartansson also. Ah reckon Aremu and Gyamfi hae potential, but Ah would hope tae sign players this summer faa are first team material ... the aforementioned guys will be good enough for back up if they can 'up a notch' as cover ... an' hopefully 'up a notch mair' tae offer viable competition'

Nane o' us are gonna get fit we want - in view o' the scale o' fit's required ... an' a fair few gambles are gonna be staked. And in terms o' gambles, Ah think wi' the right coachin', Milne could be an asset .... but maybe nae at centre back.

We hae a good heap o' players faa hae been unfairly assessed .... whether via limited time on the field ... or playin' alongside ithers faa are obviously limited/pish in a side faa collectively couldna knock the skin aff a rice puddin defensively, couldna hit a coo's airse wi an ootsized banjo attackwise, an' couldna pass water if they were burstin' in midfield.

Hope tae fuck Robinson sees fit we aa see ... but can see better re. how it get's sorted.

Tobers 🤣🤣

I find it hard to believe that he actually exists.

From the official site: Central defenders Jamie Mercer and Lewis Carrol, midfielders Aaron Cummings and Zak To, and winger Jack Searle will all remain at Cormack Park next season as they continue their football journeys with the Dons.

Who's missing from that? Teasdale? I'm sure there's another that featured in some of the Scotland camps.

David Ajagbe just mentioned as a potential signing on STV News. Canadian striker, 20 years old, not played at any kind of level.

Yasss, another project. We're crying out for a new batch.

Connor Masson is the other name that’s missing I think.

ticks all the boxes then 🤔

Two players I have heard we are supposed to be in for are Dylan Tait from Falkirk and Ben Stanway from Thistle who we were linked with before.

Have no idea of the validity of this, but if true lets hope he is more Leighton Clarkson than Rhys Williams

Is and inexperienced young central midfielder really what we will need next season, particularly when we have Findlay Marshall  back who, we have just given a new contract and surely intend to develop and give game time to. I'm slightly concerned that being obligated to give this lad minutes could be at his expense as I can't see us going with 2 young lads in the middle

Zak To and Jack Searle were on loan at Kynoch Park last season. Standouts in the “competitive” rough and tumble of the Highland League. Both won awards, and enjoyed their time with the Maroons.

The two Alfie's have both been offered new contracts by us.

Think I am correct on saying that we would now be due development fees of they don't sign on with us

So those of us of a certain vintage will remember Ian Ure from Ayr, a Scottish footballer, who as far as I'm aware had the shortest name in British football with it being only six letters.

If this is still the case we seriously need to get Zak To on the pitch for his Aberdeen debut to take over that record😉

Scott Burns reporting that new deals about to be signed Alfie Bavidge and Alfie Stewart and that Lazetic has been told he can leave.

I'm not convinced Bavidge will make the grade, but I'd much rather give him the chance than Lazetic. Hope he does the business.

Yeah mate who watches Inverness says he doesn’t think Bavidage is good enough for our level. Stewart on the other hand he has praised regularly.

I was in Inverness at the start of the week and one of my mates who is a season ticket holder for ICT said exactly the same Jute
