Yesterdays results

Only result missing from there was Fort William 1-10 (ten) Clydebank which was an evening kick off.

Most games seemed to go to form with the only shocks being Dunipace beating Irvine Meadow and St Andrews beating Haddington who have been flying so far this season.

Went to Musselburgh v Coldstream yesterday which despite the scoreline wasn’t a bad game as Coldstream did have chances and  on another day might have scored 2 or 3 themselves.

Draw for the next round is today when Highland and Lowland league teams come in.

My mate who regularly does 150+ games a season around the UK leagues went to the Fort William game. One sided affair, no match day programme. But the pie was exceptional

Never got a pie at Musselburgh yesterday as it was to warm a day for hot food. They did issue a programme though and I managed to one off one of the Coldstream committee.

Have found that standard of pies at the non league grounds usually far exceeds that of league grounds.

Must be a bit of geographic tribalism, but I always hang a bit of hope for the North-east teams

I always look out for the North teams fixtures and results in the cup.

Going to be in Aberdeen the weekend of 23rd so will head to one of the cup games in the area.

I used to go to some Banks of Dee games as a kid (from memory they played in the morning and Aberdeen played in the afternoon) so hold a candle for them. Can't see them beating Dumbarton though.

My mate's loon plays for Deveronvale so would like them to do well. No idea if Broxburn are any use.

Broxburn currently top of East of Scotland Premier and not lost a league game all season. Home advantage might tip it for Vale as Broxburn’s plastic pitch is not the greatest. Nice pies though and a really good programme.

3rd round results

Spartans beating Arbroath and getting Dick Campbell emptied probably the shock of the round. A Goodwin team losing to a lower league team has familiar feeling for some reason.

Draw for 4th round where Dons come in is live on Sunday Sportscene.
