It's ace. Although I was shitefaced. It was my stag doo. But good though, you should go.

How you can claim to have control the ball if you've not touched it? I think that's the argument, rather than not understanding. It's a bit of ambiguity, that's all.
-
Don't think it's for good though, I assumed it was just for training as we have no games for a few weeks? I'd be surprised if Norwich take him back like. Don't think he's ready for the hoofer championship yet. Another half season at us, wit him competing for his place, will do him the world of good I reckon.

I think he can be very good (Affleck), but tends to appear in shite films, it's like he hasn't got a quality checker. The accountant was cliched horseshite for example, but Argo was very good. However I nearly always try and catch his films as he's got a few crackers. There's just a lot of shite to wade through first. Watched War Dogs last night. Quite decent.

Maybe he just wants a change? We're not party to his personal life, perhaps he's fed up of Aberdeen and would prefer Edinburgh? I think this point is often overlooked when discussing footballers, we treat them as if they're in some way different to any other worker or young lad. A lot of folk want to move home and experience different things when they're young, footballers shouldn't feel obliged to stay in the same location all their careers through some perceived loyalty. Hearts would be a step sideways, but he might feel that the city of Edinburgh isn't. I don't think he's cut out - physically - for the game down South, so I think the SPL might be his only choice. Worse case scenario, and one I think might play out, is that he signs a pre-contract with them. He'll be accused of not giving his all, being a traitor etc. and his position made untenable. It'll sour an otherwise excellent dons career where he's done so much for us. It would be unworkable. Hopefully it won't happen.

	Because he's shite at football.

Fits wi' the shitey lookin baps Malaga? I'd have thought yid have made yer ain? I made funcy soup and a veg pie and mash for my guests this evening. I didn't take photaes. It was pretty fine.

Weird like. I think the summer signings of show that he thought O'Connor was going to a commanding central midfielder. There really is no other explanation. It's a shame if that is the case as it's caused us a lot of hassle (and points). At least it suggests that McInnes is aware of the problem but just can't find the player to fill it. It's easy to see why he thought O'Connor might, but it's very clear he can't.

What was the silence for? George Michael?

Aberdeen stalwart Callum Morris has left his boyhood heroes to join Dunfermline. A great servant that will be thoroughly missed. All the best Callum (it is Callum, isn't it?).

I think we're ignoring a huge part of his game here though. He does a lot of tracking back which goes completely unnoticed. We're not privvy to the stats, but I expect his distance traveled in a game is quite high. I thought he was our best player in the first half last night and looked up for it. Even saw him shouting at someone for not playing him in earlier, which is unusual for McGinn, he's usually very reserved. The fact that he's stolen a large part of Colin Farrell's face doesn't help him I think. When McGinn's not performing it's obvious and he just needs to be taken off. McInnes manages this poorly. I like him, and I'd like to see him stay. He's not cut out for the hoofer English lower leagues, he'll just get booted in the air so I struggle to see where he'd go that's better suited to him than us so I think he'll stay. Good luck to him either way, he's done very well for us over the years.

Aye, he's fucking ace. Not quite sure how we've got him. Best keeper in the league in my opinion. That free kick in the first half by Walker (I think) was straight at him, but it was similar to the pish that Scott Brown spilled last year in the equivalent fixture. Alexander is actually a better keeper than we've had in a decade too, I feel a bit sorry for him sitting on the bench.

Aye, I thought it was just me. Could hear the commentary like. Fucking annoying. Had to turn on BT sport on my phone (can't get it on my TV because of the poor internet here), but missed the goal. To be fair, Redtv has been pretty good for me in the past.

Great win. Well deserved. Good battle and great pressing. Great away performance. Spot on Deek (other than the jittery last 5 perhaps!).

Is it a chocolate cock with fully functioning jizz pipe?

As long as it's defrosted you'll be fine. Dinna bother frying, just re-heat. There's a certain line of thought that says you shouldnae re-heat turkey or chicken, but they can get fucked, they're spikkin shite.

^^^This. He's more of the same of what we've got. Can't believe McInnes was after him last year. And Reynolds is fucking awful at left back, because he doesn't like having a football anywhere near his feet.
-
I was about 30 yards fae it, with a great view. Clearly better than the refs. It was never a pen. He took the ball, hence why it flicked up into the air. It was a terrible decision fae the ref, who wasn't in a position to see whether Lewis got the ball or not, he just guessed. Incidentally, it was never a sending off either, that ball was going too wide. I think he gave it because he made a cunt of one a few minutes before where their centre half (on a yellow) pulled back Hayes - he gave them a foul.

I'm not sure it is to accommodate Taylor and Reynolds, I think it is to make up for the obvious weakness in our midfield. I'm still not sure which I am more comfortable with. I think Shinnie is an excellent left back, but the same question still arises as it did at the start of the season: is Shinnie a bigger loss in midfield than he is at left back. At the moment (as I thought at the start of the season, but changed my mind later) I think Shinnie is best in midfield. I think that Considine is better at left back than anyone of our other available midfielders is at the pressing game that Shinnie does when playing in midfield. Ergo, Shinnie is a bigger loss to the team in midfield than left back. I do not think that Shinnie is a better midfielder than he is a left back however, just that we don't have adequate replacement in that role. Also, I'd bench Maddison for the hertz game too (and I think McInnes will). The door was unlocked several times against Hamilton (we had already scored one), but for poor finishing we'd have tanked them. Until we get that pressing, strong midfielder I think it's McLean or Maddison for that one role, and I think McLean shades it at the moment. McInnes was right to change it last night, but we sacrificed a good portion of midfield on the counter because of it and I don't think Hertz will let that go. Maddison needs to up his work rate if he's going to make it. With that and a bit of physical development he'll be a fantastic player, but I don't think he's there yet and I don't think he should be an automatic starter for us (I'd play him at home against weaker opposition, where we have less defending to do).

Disagree, I thought Rooney had a good game, was one of our best players. Some neat touches and brought others into play, whilst working hard. As always, was miles ahead of everyone in reacting to Maddison's shot. Thought we played well throughout, we had about 800 corners too. McLean, Hayes, Jack Shinnie and Rooney were good. McGinn worked hard. Thought Lewis dithered for the pen, but definitely won the ball. One of the worst ref performances I've seen since thon Muir cunt went off at half time against ICT. Really poor. So many bad decisions. Although I think he got the Maddison one right (the dive), he threw his leg into Imrie (think it was him) and fell over. If he'd looked to go forward rather than cheat he would have been through on goal. Little shite. Every other decision the ref got wrong, and he poofed out of sending off the centre half when Hayes skinned him for pace.

Fuckin hell, she may be died, but that's no excuse to post a link fae the Sun.

Cash turnstiles eh? Very retro. Anyway, a fucking disgrace they were ever removed without the appropriate technology in place to replace them. This dog shite about queuing for tickets or ticket booths for physical tickets is just bollocks. Phone app, buy ticket, scan it and in. Signs with QR codes on the streets surrounding the ground so you can just scan it and are taken straight to the matchday ticket page, and with a few clicks you've got your ticket. Really, really simple technology. But we made a cunt of our ticketing system, when it was obvious technology was changing to phone based tech. I shouldn't have to have my season ticket with me, it should be assigned to my account on my phone and I should just scan my phone. If you're going to force people to use technology then it should be the best and most efficient technology possible. Half arsed shite. Anyway, I'll be going.

You could be right Rocket, but I'm not sure how that matters? He's someone else's player, and we need a good player right now. In my opinion, McLean is a much more finished player and far more useful to us if used properly (in that role). Maddison will be a better player, unless he fucks it up for himself, but right now and until the end of the season we'd be better served by a strong tackling midfielder. That said, it shouldn't (and won't be) one or the other and so I'd love to keep him and get a good holding midfielder too. I think one good thing to come out of last night was the notion that we should shoehorn him into the team just to have him there and upset the balance. He should be used behind the striker(s) only and allow the rotation of our midfield so that we can have a strong end to the season.

	Yessssssssssssss... good work.
