It was a disgraceful piece of management. He should have been hauled off immediately. Anyone who's played football before knows that if you have a passenger in the team, it is really off-putting. You look up, see a player marking an opponent and so you concentrate on a different player. On a couple of occasions Flood was left marking someone who just side stepped past him because he couldn't move. Indeed, they even got a shot on target because of it (it didn't help that Flood kept running back to help out instead of just sitting high up the park - but again McInnes should have been screaming at him to stay away from our goal). There was absolutely no benefit from him being on the park, it leaves our own players unsure where to position themselves. We've played many times with ten men, and it's easy to re-shape the team after a player is lost (to injury or red card), it happens all the time. Felt very sorry for Flood and hope is continued presence on the pitch hasn't led to any worsening of the injury. I'd be very surprised if McInnes was able to come up with any justification for that decision, it was like he stopped thinking. I'd be interested to hear if anyone thinks it was justified for (positive) tactical reasons. Really bad game too. Not too disheartened yet, as we've had some tragic pre-season friendlies over the years against shite, and that's what this was for the players. Hopefully the new players bring more to the team or it's going to be a long season. Bring on the Latvian cunts.

In fairness to him, it must be difficult to be a leader when nae cunt listens to you. He's had absolutely zero coverage, and the useless cunts around him haven't forced his views onto - at the very least - the bbc. It was indicative of the BBC's agenda though that they ditched the serving shadow chancellor from Andrew Marr show, replacing him with the resigned cunt Benn Jnr. Similarly, desperate to give those against Corbyn time to air their views without right of reply (or even mentioning that two thirds of Labour voters voted remain - a respectable return for Corbyn). Again, the folk round him should have been screaming down the BBC's door and forcing their way on set. I don't think Corbyn has the ruthlessness and hardness to go for the cunts. He's excellent when approached for an argument, but he doesn't seem to have the desire to hunt the arguments down and force his way in. Him, or the folks round him need to be battering doors down. Perhaps I'm doing him a disservice and things will change when he gets his own folk in about, but I doubt it. Shame, the guy has integrity it seems. Hopefully he'll last to mid-July.

I just don't get the overwhelming support for the EU in Scotland. It's a pity that couldn't be broken down into Yes and No voter stats. Was it the majority of the 55% who voted to remain, or those who voted yes? As a Yes voter, I would have felt hypocritical about voting remain. Many of the reasons for voting for independence were entirely apparent in the EU set-up. The only unknown was being left as part of the sordid Boris led fuck up that is the UK, but surely not enough to vote remain. Interesting times for independence. I think the best thing they can do is sit tight and wait for Boris to take charge. Bide their time, there'll be a better time for a referendum than right now. From a UK perspective, Cameron gone was obvious, but a good few Blairites trying to get Corbyn out too - cynical cunts. Again, if Corbyn sits tight, those thick cunts that voted to leave for reasons of immigration will head to him when they realise that Johnson and Chancellor Gove (fuck sake) have no interest in their well-being. That would be good. I have to say, I'm actually a fan of Alexander, I think he's a very good goalkeeper. Getting to the end of his career, but he'd be the best number 2 we're had in years (we've had a lot of shite!). Remains to be seen if this Lewis cunt is any good.

Good performance from Arneson last night. Always thought he was a class centre half. Very lazy centre midfielder who spent too much time holding onto the ball, but would welcome him back in place of Taylor. Clearly likes the dons.

This is all a bit Stuart Duff. I suppose it replaces Quinn and Rose on that side of the defence, although I'd have hoped that Taylor would be cover for an actual defender. Obviously I have no recollection of the guy actually playing, I'm only assuming he's pish.

I think that'd be a good move for both parties. I'd hope Storie would be our back-up midfield option next season with another two coming in to replace Robson and Flood. Although I wouldn't complain if it was just one very good one.

I had similar. I should have known better than to bet against Italy. A great tournament team. Belgium showed exactly why they won't win anything. Totally unorganised, lack of desire, lack of creativity. It was like watching the dons when Hayes and McGinn don't turn up. Frustrating, and a manager who won't make a change until it's too late, and a lack of plan B. The Italians were ace. Hope they do well.

Agreed, Fud is capitalised here too, I expect it's a last name. Also had £40 on Germany to win by two clear goals, so a bonus at the end! I might put it all on Wales to beat England. They won't fail with my run of luck.

Fuck them. Taking Rocket's advice to gamble more, I had £50 on a Croatia, Poland and Germany treble, which is more important (I had McGinn last goalscorer of course). 5-1, so hoping the Germans don't make a cunt of it.
