Bringing in Warnock and consultants is just chucking away money that we could be spending on the squad this summer. As Rico said are the consultants really going to tell Cormack it’s his choices of Director of Football and Chief exec that are part of the problem. I seriously doubt it. Warnock is just in it for the cash and will say whatever he thinks will keep the money coming in. His record is always spun positively by the media because he’s good for a quote and interview when in fact his record is not that great at all. A lot of emphasis on his promotions from lower leagues and his relegations from top flight completely ignored. I really just don’t get why we are doing this.

Warnock surely cannot be considered even as an interim appointment. Teams don’t play the style we are looking to implement, no knowledge or experience of Scottish football and will likely cost a fortune.

One of my concerns over appointing an interim manager is that it puts us behind for summer recruitment. We need to get the new manager in now so as he can review existing squad and start working as soon as possible with recruitment team on identifying targets for the summer.

So in the whole window we bring in only one player to play in a position we already have plenty of cover in and don’t bring in any defenders or wide players. Pretty disappointing to say the least. However on the plus side I am stunned and delighted there were no bids for Miovski as was convinced he would be away this window. Now at least keep his goals until the summer. Neil is hated by Sunderland fans for fucking off to Stoke when he had got them promotion and recruited the team for the Championship. His team actually played really good football and up until him leaving the way he did their fans loved him.

Everyone wanted to Robson to succeed but reality is it was always unlikely he would given turnover of players in the summer and number of games to negotiate. This season screamed out for an experienced manager to be brought in. That failures on the FMB. Robson however has not helped himself with his stubbornness over tactics and selection of players. We have been a brutal watch for most of the season which with the players we have should not be happening. We look a poorly coached team. To be on less points after 20 games than we were last season should be enough to see the FMB act but not convinced they will.

I am getting to the stage where I do not want to attend games with VAR. It is killing the game.
