  1. I think McGrath’s drop in form has come since he was moved out of the middle to accommodate Clarkson. Although McGrath can play wide I think he is at his best in the middle and Clarkson just has not been as effective.
  2. This is going to be massive test of managers ability to lift players after a very poor performance from most of team. Devlin looked like he was nursing an injury that got worse as game went on and he was limping as he went off. If he is not fit got no idea who will go at right back. Rubi probably needs dropped for that performance on Saturday but not convinced McDonald or Molly have strength to deal with Vassel. In midfield I just don’t think we can play Clarkson and McGrath together. Needs to be one or the other. For me has to be McGrath central and Clarkson who drops out. I would also drop Nilsen and play Palaversa. I had hoped the rest might of helped him but he again looked off it on Saturday. Upfront no idea. Need to pick one of them and stick with him for a few games. Killie on their carpet is normally a difficult game but given how error prone we have been can’t see us winning. In lift down Away end lift back to capital 1-0 no dons scorer.
  3. Jensen only managed 5 games in Denmark and not played any of games since October so not convinced he is answer.
  4. I would think the an experienced centre back will be moving up the list rapidly. McDonald is clearly not seen as the answer by club so think we do need one. However with Devlin clearly playing with an injury yesterday I still think a right back is a priority. Striker is also clearly an issue because even if Gueye comes back from injury in the same goal scoring form we still need cover as Sokler, Nisbet and Ambrose are not the answer. Although the constant rotation of strikers has not helped any of them. Maybe need to just go with one of them for a few weeks to try and get some confidence.
  5. Finished 2-1 to Atletico Madrid putting them top of the league with their 12th win in a row. Cracking game with 3 really good goals
  6. I thought Hibs dealt with Morris easily when he came on. He and Duk offered little today. Just a real bad day at the office.
  7. Barcelona v. Atletico Madrid on ITV4 just now. 0-0 after 25 minutes.
  8. Was just about to offer you mine. That was as bad anything produced under Robson and Warnock. Doohan is shite. Molloy and Rubi were having a competition to see who could be the most shite only for Ambrose to come on and steal their crown. Gifted Hibs first and 3rd goals and decent keeper cuts out cross for 2nd. Think it was Clarkson who gave away ball for third. Probably first time I have questioned managers tactics and subs today.
  9. Thought Nilsen had 6 yellows and was suspended but obviously not. Glad to see MacKenzie back.
  10. I am still convinced our succession of shite keepers then was the result our scouting team misunderstanding “no way you can find a worse keeper than this cunt clangers” comment from the manager.
  11. Thelin said in interview recently Pape was on course to be back middle of January.
  12. Club have confirmed Vinnie is out for 4 months and Jack Milne for 3.
  13. Well done for remembering the thread even existed.
  14. Out on goals scored as well.
  15. Hearts making a tit of Europa conference league. Currently 2-2 at home to a team from Moldova and going out of Europe.
  16. Sort of suggests they were working on replacing O’Neil for a while.
  17. Lost count on the number we have had since we created the post.
  18. Stick this in here as it might affect the transfer window. New head of recruitment appointed.
  19. Got to assume we will be getting a few in this window. Squad was always thin and recent injuries have just highlighted that. Hopefully the work has already been done and some of the new players will be in early in the window.
  20. Only tickets left in section Y in the South and RDS upper which is decent effort. Think Nilsen is suspended for this one so would expect Palaversa to come in for him. Hopefully McKenzie is fit as McGarry hasn’t been anywhere near as effective at left back. Think Keskinen and McGrath should start as wide either side of Clarkson. No idea who starts up front as don’t think any of them have done enough to make the position their own. As you say Hibs seem to have picked up a bit of late so can see this being a difficult game. That said their keeper is shite so if we can get pressure on him we will get opportunities. In Lift up the road then pub Y Christmas present deliveries and night out in Aberdeen 2-0 McGrath and Clarkson
  21. Seen some rumours elsewhere that the family are taking flak for this.
  22. Scott Burns article suggesting right back and wide are priorities for this transfer window. Sounds like he is just jumping to same conclusions as most on here rather than anything manager has said.
  23. With Jack Milne and Vinnie Besuijen both looking at being out for a few months think we definitely need to get in a right back and wide player as priority now.
  24. New stadium was part built but they ran out of money before it was completed and is still sitting half built.
  25. They have been in the shite for a few years now. They almost went down a couple of seasons back and look doomed this season. There have been protests against the owners over lack of investment for a while now. Basically they regularly sell best players and don’t bring in replacements and plug gaps with youth players.
