  1. That is worst Tribute Act team I have seen since mid 80s when shite like Gregor Stevens played for them. Embarrassing to lose 3-0. We have fallen off a cliff form wise. Only positive for me was Jensen. Elgin get an early goal on Saturday we could be right in the shite as confidence has gone completely.
  2. Cannot be finished as we are surely getting a striker in.
  3. No idea how we will line up tonight but with Tribute Acts home form I fully expect us to lose and possibly by a few. £36 a ticket for Scottish football is a joke so I am glad my work is insisting that I actually do what they pay me for today which means I cannot attend as I am weak and would have folded and gone. Oot work hopefully home for game on tv flat 3-0 no dons scorer
  4. Another defender surely not.
  5. Dorrington signed a new 4 year deal before coming on loan so doubt he will be signing on even if his loan is successful. Jensen is an interesting one. Looks the very definition of a utility player but utility players are usually ones who are not good enough to be a long term answers in a set position but good enough to plug the gap until a longer term solution is found. However given fee we have paid I would be surprised if we are signing him to be a utility player and will have a position set for him. Which one I have no idea.
  6. Being linked with both Rome clubs, both Milan clubs and Juventus in last few weeks. Looks like nice bidding war coming for his services.
  7. Pretty sure McInnes gave him his debut in Scottish Cup against Dumbarton just before he was sacked.
  8. There are studies in the U.S. that now suggest that artificial surfaces can lead to more non contact knee and ankle injuries. There are also a couple that suggest injury recovery time is longer on artificial surfaces as well. https://www.center4research.org/injuries-related-to-artificial-turf/
  9. Finished 5-2 to Barcelona with them finishing game with 10 men.
  10. Spanish super cup currently being played in Saudi. Barcelona 3-1 up just before half time.
  11. I thought McGarry was caught out of position time and time again but we got away with it as Hearts were as bad as us going forward. Better team will exploit it. Not usually a fan of Doohan but he his two saves won us a point today. Was eye bleeding stuff to watch at times from both sides.
  12. Exactly what a few said in pub pregame about him going there.
  13. No idea how that is lining up. Think I may be in pub by half time.
  14. Seen Alfie Dorrington on loan from Spurs being mentioned as a possibility. Left sided centre back.
  15. Not been convinced by him so far and not sure I would have taken up the option on him.
  16. Not seen a Wellington game so far. Sydney v Central Coast on in back ground just now. 1-1 and can see why both teams are mid table. Perth v Auckland is on later and might watch that as -3 outside just now.
  17. Melbourne City making hard work of beating bottom of the league Brisbane. Just as I type this they go 1-0 up.
  18. Moyes allegedly going back to Everton.
  19. Tobers has to start. I would not be starting Polvara at centre back. Think too many people are reading too much into 45 minutes against a Motherwell team that were happy not to attack. Even then they did miss a couple of sitters. Hearts will be coming at us full of confidence so think Polvara will get found out pretty quickly. As bad as he has been I would go with McDonald on Sunday but play him on the right of the defence rather than the left. I would also stick with Nisbet as the striker as he was doing okay in first half on Sunday and probably unlucky to be subbed. Replacement buses for the train due to engineering works make it a shite journey on Sunday. In Pub Y long journey back to capital 2-1 Nisbet and Keskinen.
  20. Clearly bullshit but can you imagine him and Rubi as your centre back pairing.
  21. Been to few games at Brammall Lane and always been well attended so surprised that gate that low. Think you are right that TV is probably to blame but think it’s also FA cup has been devalued down south and fans are no longer interested in it even in lower leagues.
  22. Think he was always odds on to go when West Ham pulled the trigger on Lopetegui. Think Everton interviewed Potter as well so be interesting to see where they go.
  23. Hadn’t noticed they were only 2 points outside relegation places. Maybe not a surprise he is gone then.
  24. West Ham manager punted only 7 months after they chased Moyes out the door. Being replaced by Graham Potter who is not holding out for Tribute Act gig after all.
  25. If we make Europe we will need to have more Scottish born/developed players to meet UEFA squad requirements so would expect to see more come in this summer. Also as Rico says once Thelin gets a better understanding of game here he will start to look at players in this country.
