Byrne is not good to enough to play at Aberdeen in any position. JC even tries to praise this balloon for being clumsey in an article in the P&J. Byrne would be a red card waiting to happen at centre half.

Only reason I can think of for this signing is that all those UV rays JC has been exposing himself to have finally fried his brain. Surely there were better players available. Daal for example.

Probably to late to sort anything now but John fae Sunderland has been on to say that they are now selling away end tickets for this game.

As I said elsewhere I would bet on it being McNamara as I cannot see any other reason for us brining him here. At 33 with bad knees he is hardly what you would call up and coming talent.

Saw McAuley a couple of times for Peterhead and always looked head and shoulders above the rest of the team. He looked capable of playing at a higher level.

Good player who has always impressed when I have seen him play for Well or Scotland. Think he would be ideal partner for Seve in the middle of the park as well.
