Surely these Russian internet brides are pretty flexiable about when you meet them?

In all the time I have known you have never stayed for 90 mins. Only have to get the Russian bird just to wait until half 8 when you leave ground anyway.

  4. I totally agree that, in this case, Jimmy should be dealing with this behind closed doors and not in the press.

However, is anyone else not slightly f*cked off with Lovell?  How many chances does he need...

I would be if he not had won a penalty (that was missed by one of JCs favourites) put through a decent pass for the same player to miss a decent chance and also forced the United keeper into a decent save in the first all whilst having to work off no service what so ever from a midfield and defence that were clearly instructed to punt the ball at his head whilst playing against to massive centre halfs. Lovell was one of the few who would have got pass marks yesterday but as I have said elsewhere JC has to blame Lovell as it either that or take the blame himself for making the wrong tactical choices which is something he will never do.

  5. Still struggling to see what everyone means by Young has done okay. If they mean he has charged about alot and given 100% in most matches then I suppose that is fair enough. However I still cannot see what positive contiubtion he has brought to the team and how he has improved us as a team. Guy has no ability whats so ever and has struggled against any team who pass the ball with Falkirk in the league being a prime example. He never touched the ball.

As for Duff I cannot remember him once impressing me when we have played United so not a good start but will see how he does in a red shirt before making any judgements.

  6. Getting rid of Lovell would be a mistake. If he gets a decent run of games and we get a midfielder to supply him and Miller with decent service still think that we could have a decent front pairing who will get us the goals we need to get into Europe again this season.

Cannot believe players with injury history like Byrnne and Tounzani have been offered deals and Lovell is not.

  7. Some nice suggestions but only ones we can get are those who will not command a fee as we are skint and according to the players leaving offering pish wages. Might Black or Russel Duncan from Caley as both are out of contract and Caley pay even less than we do.

  8. I wouldn't play them.

I know there's the cutting your nose off to spite your face but they aren't at all commited to AFC anymore.

In Clark's case you wonder if that applied at all.

    Agree with the above.

Why would they put any future move on the line by getting injured going for a 50/50 ball playing for us. Would rather play someone who has a future at the club.

  9. I hope they offer the a bit more money to Nicholson in order to persuade him to stay and im sure with all calderwood's "contacts" a right back who isn't completely inept can be bought using the money from the sale of hart!

Hope the 3 who have turned down deals realise that they wont get clubs as big as aberdeen, even if theyre getting paid masses more at plymouth they will never have a chance of european football or a cup win. a real case of cash before success

JC contacts have already brought us two right backs in Mair and McNamara and look how sucessful they have been.

  10. And is keen to stay IF the deal is right, according to the EE.

Article not online yet, so unable to copy and paste.

why don't we withdraw the offer to Chris Clark and offer his money to Miller instead ;)

I would keep Miller hanging on as do not think it is any coincidence that his work rate and goal scoring since end of October all tie in with him not getting offered a new contract. As soon as he gets a new offer I would not bet against the lazy bastard we have had for most of Millers time at Dons returning.

  11. Interview with Nicholson in the EE today, saying he wants to sign a new three year contract.  A few things to be ironed out but "if the contract is right I will sign it".  Says he's thoroughly enjoying playing in the UEFA cup with the Dons.

That could still mean that one of the things to be ironed out is the money. Only a fool would say with 6 months to go that he wants to leave as it would guarantee abuse from the fans for the remainder of the contract. I am quite sure that the same article more or less appeared for both McNaughton and Anderson in the past couple of years.

  12. Langfield is not Scotlands 2nd best keeper. When he got in to the squad at least 3 or 4 of the choices in front of him were injured.

Neither Langfield or Souter are good keepers and both should be freed in the summer and the wages used to find better replacements
