  1. Not sure what McInnes was trying to achieve tonight. Alarming that he decided to repeat Browns mistake of playing Vernon in midfield to accommodate the donkey up front. Even more alarming that he took Vernon, who had scored 4 in last two games, off at half time yet left the donkey, who has managed 1 in 9, on. Very poor judgement on his behalf to say the least. Looked a completely different team to the one that played at Falkirk with none of quick passing football on display tonight. Players all seemed to want to take extra touches of ball or slow the play down instead. That's us dropped 5 points against the bottom two which is not what you would expect from a team that has ambitions of challenging at top end of the table.
  2. Madrid derby shaping up to be a cracker. Athletico 1 up after 15 minutes.
  3. Nigel Clough sacked by Derby.
  4. In/oot: trying to attend Prematcher: train Match: Away end Postmatcher: train Predition: 3-0 Dons McGinn to score first on his return
  5. For the team would rather have had a home tie but from a purely selfish point of view it means I can get to the game so happy with that. Probably hardest team we could have got.
  6. Brilliant performance from Dons especially once we got rid of that clown Zola. Low and Smith were excellent with Vernon also outstanding. Looked so much better with a striker who has a first touch and knows where the goal is.
  7. Tims losing 1-0 in extra time.
  8. Will be going along to this. 3-0 win for Dons.
  9. Dicanio punted by Sunderland. Probably to late to save them from relegation though as he has spent a shed load of cash on pish and let the two best players leave.
  10. Trains are to expensive so giving this one a miss. Real test this weekend as Caley look a decent outfit again this year. As much as Butcher is a Hun cunt you have to admire his ability to pick up decent players for nothing from lower reaches of English football that can do business in SPL. Must be third time at least he has had to rebuild his team. Do not think we can afford to lose this one as 9 points is to big a start to give anyone even this early in the season.
  11. You mean like it was in the first place before they saw a way of fleecing cash from the fans? Will be there but Friday night football is pish.
  12. McGregor and Boyd both join Morrison and Dorrans in withdrawing from squad.
  13. According to Falkirk website this is a 19:15 kick off on the Wednesday.
  14. Oot Probably head to a lowland league game. 1-0 Dons McGinn penalty again.
  15. Can make this one so for the selfish reason I am happy with the draw but as Al says only Dundee or Partick away could have been harder.
  16. Anyone now what time the draw is today?
  17. Celtic, Motherwell, St Johnstone, Caley and Hibs coming in next round along with winner of Dumbarton v Arabs. Hearts should be one of ceded teams.
  18. Through thank fuck.
  19. Vernon and Wylde on for Hayes and Robertson on. 3 at the back?
  20. Hayes off as well now.
  21. Assume Low coming on for Flood.
  22. Squad. Good to McCormack recalled and Anya getting a chance after some decent performances for Watford. If Samson is one 4 best keepers Scotland has then we better pray nothing happens to other 3. Scotland squad: Goalkeepers Matt Gilks (Blackpool) David Marshall (Cardiff City) Allan McGregor (Hull City)* Craig Samson (Kilmarnock) Defenders Ikechi Anya (Watford) Gordon Greer (Brighton and Hove Albion) Grant Hanley (Blackburn Rovers) Alan Hutton (Aston Villa) Russell Martin (Norwich City) Charlie Mulgrew (Celtic) Steven Whittaker (Norwich City) Midfielders Charlie Adam (Stoke City) Barry Bannan (Aston Villa) George Boyd (Hull City) Scott Brown (Celtic) Craig Conway (Cardiff City) Graham Dorrans (West Bromwich Albion) James Forrest (Celtic) James McArthur (Wigan Athletic) James Morrison (West Bromwich Albion) Steven Naismith (Everton) Robert Snodgrass (Norwich City) Forwards Leigh Griffiths (Wolverhampton Wanderers) Jamie Mackie (Nottingham Forest) Shaun Maloney (Wigan Athletic) Ross McCormack (Leeds United) Jordan Rhodes (Blackburn Rovers)
  23. If he is being moved on then I hope a suitable replacement is brought in as the thought of Zola and Magennis as our only two striking options beside McGinn for the season is a frightening one.
  24. Spurs won 5-0 in the end. Looked decent although Tbilisi looked shit.
  25. Decent Spanish Super Cup game between Athletico Madrid and Barca. Currently 1-1.
