Hibs have signed midfielder Josh Vela from Bolton on a three year deal. Immediately being hailed by their fans as much better than Ojo because they are not bitter about Ojo picking us over them. Not in the slightest.

This should be done and dusted but a mixture of great goal keeping and poor finishing followed by a defensive howler means RoPS are still in it. Hard to judge any of the new players on last night as RoPS are one of the worst teams I have seen at Pittodrie in a long time. We should still go through but due to our own failings it’s going to be harder that it should have been.

Oh well here we go again. Massively underwhelmed by the summer signings so far Bryson aside. As others have said no idea of how we will line up. I do not think the lack of creation in the middle of the park has been addressed so we might see McGinn being played in there with Ferguson and Campbell. We should only be selling McKenna to Victim FC if they are making an offer that pays for Kingsford. For the player himself he should be looking for move to England or Europe as the next stage of his development and not another Scottish club.
