Come Al you actually expect these work shy colonial types to actually do anything. I mean there is not even a match thread up for next game.
  2. Just so as Rico stops moaning the fixtures for Nations league below.
  3. Sorry was busy trying to find cheap flights to Yerevan and Kiev.
  4. Cannot see St Mirren allowing McGrath to go before the end of the season even if he signs a precontract with us for the same reason. No way they get in a similar quality player in January so there as well keeping him.
  5. Would normally say do a deal to get shot in January but I doubt we will get a player as talented in to replace him. Might just have to stick with him until May.
  6. Darvel 2-2 Brechin City. Darvel win on penalties. Darvel through to play Arbroath away in next round.
  7. Jack Milne was 81st minute sub for Brechin and missed his penalty in the shoot out as they exited from the Scottish Cup following 2-2 draw with Darvel.
  8. Hibs 1-0 up on Dundee. Belter of an own goal.
  9. Ojo charged with assault.
  10. Jack MacKenzie gets a contract extension.
  11. Surprised to see Watt is only 27. Seems like he has been about for years. He is another of those players who you see one time and think there is a player in there then next time not even notice he is on the field. Maybe he has matured now as Tlg says or maybe a fluke season as Slim says. Given his age might be worth a punt if wages are low enough. Could he play the number 10 role?
  12. Michael Ruth was 68th minute sub in Falkirk’s 3-0 defeat from Cove. Ryan Duncan came off the bench in 62 minutes to score Peterhead’s equaliser in their 1-1 draw with East Fife. Kieran Ngwenya played full game and Connor Barron played 68 minutes of Kelty’s 6-1 win over Albion Rovers. Mark Gallagher was unused sub for Forfar in their 2-0 win over Stirling.
  13. As Rico can’t work copy and paste Old cliche is don’t change a winning team I suppose.
  14. He had left Indy 11 in the summer and was out of work. Vaguely remember him being linked with a number of jobs before so think he has been trying to get back to U.K. for a while.
  15. Falkirk announce Martin Rennie as new manager. Managed at Vancouver and recently at Indy 11 in USL. Allegedly mate of one of new Falkirk board members.
  16. Tomorrow’s game will see us being better able to judge if we have truly turned the corner or just benefited from playing two of weakest teams in the league at home. Expect St Johnstone to sit and force us to try and break them down despite them being home team. Cannot see it being a high scoring game so given my current run of luck at bookies lump on both teams to score. oot Christmas Shopping local game if I get shopping done going online to buy things I have forgotten/didn’t get when I sack it and go to a game. 1-0 Ferguson
  17. They sacked the head of recruitment a while ago for this summers failings in the transfer market so bit surprised they have sacked Ross now but 4 points out of last 27 does usually lead to a manager being in trouble. As Rico says Alex Neil must be a lead candidate for this one or maybe McInnes?
  18. Surprisingly no it was Hanlon and McGinn both for reviving 2 yellow cards. Porteous went off injured though so that may explain lack of red for him.
  19. STV reporting Jack Ross has been sacked by Hibs. https://news.stv.tv/sport/jack-ross-leaves-hibernian-following-defeat-to-livingston
  20. Finished 1-0 to Livingston with Hibs finishing with 9 men. Hibs looked shite and are in real danger of getting dragged into relegation fight.
  21. Hibs losing 1-0 to Livingston tonight with Boyle missing a penalty as well. League cup final probably all that is keeping Jack Ross in a job at the moment.
  22. Need to learn to read things before I post them.
  23. McLennan showed potential when he first broke through and had some good performances for both Dons and Scotland U21s but he has not kicked on from there. Not sure if that is down to lack of ability, injuries leading to lack of game time or a combination of both but he is now frustrating watch. That said would rather we kept him for another year and gave him the game time allocated to the loan signings like Samuels and Jenks to see if there is a player there.
  24. Replays over last few days: Montrose 1-1 Kelty Hearts 1-3 penalties Morton 1-1 ICT 5-4 penalties Queen of the South 0-3 Cove.
